Oakwood at The Nash

Stayed here in January for 5 nights. I have to say I was pleasantly surprised by the size of the room! We had a large double bed, a sofa and coffee table, large TV, god knows how many cable channels, a DVD player (which we didn't use) and a kitchenette and bathroom. We had complimentary shampoo etc and also complimentary coffee with a proper filter coffee machine. They even included decaf coffee which I was delighted about since I can't drink ordinary coffee. Also in the kitchen they had provided dishwasher soap and scrubbing pads and even washing powder. It really was a home from home. Please note this is not a hotel so if you want your bed making - make it yourself! Having said this, you do get fresh towels delivered but if you want someone to clean up you can book this (as well as your bed making) but you will be charged. Of course we were not bothered about this as it's not biggie making the bed! I would say that the heater was a little noisy at night but other than that the bed was very comfortable and I slept like a baby. There is a rooftop terrace but being January it was closed the first night then after that we found the furniture had been covered up for the Winter. It was freezing up there but fantastic views!! There was even a common room up there. I would definitely visit again in the Summer. On a final note, and I wish I had got his name, our shuttle the airport let us down but the concierge on at the time (although I will say they were all very friendly) went above and beyond to sort us out with a last minute frantic taxi to the airport. I really can't thank him enough! We left on 12th January 2019 around 6 - 7 pm.
