Had strong odor from the AC of cigarets so they moved me to another room very close to terminal 3 10 min walk .You have some
Stores closed by includes Thai massage that opens until 23:00.the rooms are more on the small side .

Stinks in the rooms but friendly personal

Called recently and was most disappointed as it turned out to be a building site in the occupation of builders and had been since the beginning of the year apparently.Rather a sad site really as the work appeared to be intermittent.


Builders in residence

Telephoned ahead to warn that we were running late, but the proprieter was still there when we arrived. Splendid, comfortable room and clean bathroom. Excellent breakfast also served by our host. Courteous and helpful he helped ensure that we had a pleasurable stay.

An old style hotel with old style service!

We booked here for an overnight stay while visiting relatives in Wrexham, despite mixed reviews the ability to have a room for 3 with Breakfast for £80 seemed a good deal.
On the positive – the room was of a good size, the hotel had parking, the owner was friendly and the cooked breakfast was fine.
On the negative side however the signage was so poor despite parking outside we had to ask someone where the hotel was. The room (3) was above the Bar and therefore had noise coming up into the room until late in the evening. The door to the bathroom did not shut, which was probably a good thing – as the inside of the door had no handle! The general cleanliness of the room was not good – the carpet needed a good clean as did some of the bedlinen! Room 3 is over the front door and every time someone came in it felt as though the whole room shook!
We were disturbed during the night by a drunk (or just inconsiderate) couple in the next room who had a row, then shouted each other with the female having a loud phone call at around midnight. This was followed at 1.30 by someone shouting outside the front door for ‘Barbara’ until they were let in – none of this was the owner’s fault, however his dog barking every time someone came in the front door was not helpful when trying to get to sleep.
This was the only hotel I have every stayed in which I suggested to my wife and daughter that we simply get up and drive home during the night!
Would I stay here again- no! Would I recommend it – no. The only person I would suggest stay would be the Hotel Inspector as I am sure it could be a great hotel with some care and attention and it could do with her help.

Disturbed Night

We arrived at the hotel to be met with a tired run down looking frontage it had climbing plants obliterating the hotel signage the external decorations were very poor the letter box was hanging off it looked dreadful. I entered the hotel it was dark dingy and smelly, not a place I would lay my head, there was no one around so I came back to my car and phoned the Agents Booking.com and cancelled the reservation on the points mentioned they were helpful and I received a full refund. Definitely not one to visit
