Stayed for 3 nights with family, nice size room even with an extra bed. Very friendly staff, nice view of the Tyne river from our room. A little noisy from smokers outside but nothing crazy. Plenty of restaurants nearby, Quayside has a lovely Sunday market.

Exceptionally friendly and helpful staff, hotel clean, comfy and breakfast fantastic. We stayed at the Doubletree at airport on our last night (early flight) and the Premier Inn exceeded the Doubletree on all levels.  

As always the Prem`s never fail to impress or satisfy in my personal opinion and experience. Stayed in dozens around the country whilst working away and this one in Newcastle was just perfect for all needed on a night away for a concert. Staff were amazing and friendly and the service was spot on.

Absolutely fantastic service from Alex, Matty and Liam who organised for restaurant to open for us to have meals 30 minutes early for us to get to a concert at the Sage. What a refreshing change after lots of appalling service in hotels and restaurants since Covid, nothing was a bother for them. All staff were polite and friendly and service as you would hope for. The quality of food was also fantastic, both evening meal and breakfast. Room and all facilities were spotlessly clean, comfortable bed and easy parking too. 10/10 we all had a great stay. We will definitely be back and highly recommend. Thank you.

We stayed at this hotel for the first time last month. My 7 year old son who has autism, is a huge Newcastle United fan and couldn't wait to visit!

Everything there was absolutely perfect. The staff were really friendly and welcoming. The bed was comfy and we slept really well. The food was also amazing and on the last day before we travelled back to South Wales, a young waitress offered us some cakes to take with us. It is definitely the most friendly Premier inn we've ever stayed in!

The only one bad thing was on the last day, while I was packing up and my son and partner was taking the cases to the car, my son must have accidentally pulled the plug from the iron with him as he was leaving the room. Withing 1 minute there was a knock at the door and I was greeted with a rude cleaner (who was older with short grey hair and small in height). She was saying how dangerous it was and I apologised and moved it straight away. But even after that she kept going on with how it's dangerous. Afterwards when I met up with my partner and son for breakfast I told them about it and they said when they were on their way back they bumped into what sounded like the same lady and she asked what room they was in. When they told her she gave them no response. I completely understand it might have hurt someone if they'd stepped on it but as other families and even people without families may know its quite difficult to pack up and have breakfast to be out by 10 especially If your child has autism. I apologised that I didn't see it in that few seconds after they left but I just don't understand how she had to be so rude about it.

I hate to leave something negative because everything else was absolutely perfect and that goes with the rest of the staff and I feel its fair to leave them 5 stars

The hotel was clean, comfortable and handy for exploring Newcastle with a nice view of the Tyne.  The staff are absolutely lovely - really helpful and friendly.

Huge oversight in our groups part, we had this trip planned far in advance and had not realised it was the great north run. The staff helped us navigate out of the city in the morning & were the kindest

We've stayed at this hotel previously.  So we knew what to expect, plus you know what you're getting with a Premier Inn.  Staff were polite and friendly.  It's located down by the Quayside in Newcastle so that will lead you down by the water, where there are some bars and pubs to grab a bite or drink.  Then your not so far either from the City Centre.

Our room was spacious, had all the facilities we required. however again there were no biscuits.  Used to be a thing, but seems this has been removed?

A great bed, decent sized bath/shower and toilet with a TV and kettle in the room.

If you're staying in Newcastle, I would certainly recommend this hotel.

The only drawback is chargeable parking.  Although discounted, it's a shame as a fair few Premier Inn's provide free parking in other cities.

Stayed for the night with my family. Excellent friendly and helpful staff, great value for money and a lovely breakfast the next day. Brilliant to have ample parking too. I alway think you can't beat a Premier Inn for value and this one proves me right.

The staff here were friendly, knowledgeable and helpful, can't rate them highly enough. The hotel was clean, the bed was comfortable and I liked the fact that the windows open ( restricted opening) as I like to get some fresh air into my room. Overall a fully functional stay with good breakfast and lovely staff.

much better then expected lovely clean and modern rooms very comfortable beds there was shower gel hair wash and hand soap available tea and coffee available hairdryer staff at reception where very helpful and understanding with my needs the only problem I had was the room was cold even with the heating on I couldn’t get it warm 

Good experience

Returned here after a previous trip to be helped by the same member of staff named Eddie. He is welcoming, warm, kind and helpful. Having had a great experience on our last visit we returned to receive the same excellent service. Eddie is an asset to this large organisation, giving a personal touch usually experienced at smaller independently owned hotels.

A great breakaway

Quiet room, comfy bed, great staff.

On a par with other Premier Inns I’ve stayed in and reasonably priced.  Slightly out of the centre but very handy for visiting the Quayside area.  The only downside was no air conditioning in the rooms so the room was quite uncomfortably warm owing to it having been a lovely warm day.  I can imagine it would be very uncomfortable at the height of summer when the weather is much warmer.  That being said, though, the rest of the stay was very enjoyable.

Amazing welcome despite arriving around 11pm.
Staff apologised that restaurant was closed but advised of local take-aways which could deliver if required.
Enjoyed an outstanding cheeseburger in the bar/restaurant the following evening - very, very tasty and well presented.
Would definitely recommend!

Outstanding Staff

We arrived at hotel at about 7.30 the hotel was extremely busy due to a cheerleading competition in Newcastle that weekend. The staff hadn’t been informed about the competition and rooms had been booked that day so the staff numbers were low, in fact only 2 front of house staff were on, Kayleigh and Ed. I had spoke to Kayleigh a few days earlier about our reservation and she was very helpful. Kayleigh checked us in and told us that it was very busy, she managed to fit us into the restaurant even though only two staff working in the restaurant and reception in total. Kayleigh took our drinks order and Ed took our food order. Both were very polite and apologetic for them being understaffed and busy. I told them there was nothing to apologise for but they were so helpful. Ed explained the car parking situation so we could leave the car there all day. I would recommend this hotel and the staff were amazing! 5 STARS!!!!

Cheerleading Competition Stay, Amazing Staff!

Second visit here without the children this time and just as good as the first, if not better.  
Check in was easy with the nicest and friendliest staff I've ever come across. Anything you ask, nothing is any trouble. Decided to skip evening meal and explore Newcastle, taking up the  recommended restaurant nearby. Breakfast was superb as always. So much tastier having an order taken than a buffet, knowing its fresh. Check out super easy and super cheap car parking for a City Centre with ease to pay. 
Whenever I am in Newcaatle from now we will always choose here. Thank You. We will see you again Millenium Bridge Premier Inn.
