Just had dinner from the BBQ Menu (whilst the kitchen's being refurbished) which was absolutely amazing. We shared the beef brisket and the cauliflower complemented by the sides and salads and it was all just stunning on the palate. Can't wait to return to test the new menu once the new kitchen opens. Don't hesitate, just go. Adam the chef and his team were so friendly and welcoming. Fantstic experience all round !!!

We had the most wonderful lunch here on the weekend! The chef was super lovely, and the menu was incredible. We had monkfish, pork, scallops and beef brisket from their BBQ menu, accompanied by potatoes and salads. The food tasted amazing, and was so fresh. We had some wine and aperol spritz and just had the loveliest few hours in the sunshine! Cannot recommend enough. Hoping to head back to try their Sunday BBQ lunch menu!

We stayed here for two nights to see Duran Duran at Powderham Castle. It was a wonderful, peaceful time and we will visit again. We have recommended highly to all our family and friends. We stayed at several places in Devon on our holiday but this place was our highlight stay.  
Dinner was amazingly delicious and the breakfasts were huge with ingredients of great quality, including fabulous homemade marmalade. Our room was very comfortable and charming and everything we needed was provided. The staff are really what made this stay brilliant, and especially Joe. From the moment we arrived the staff were very helpful and friendly without being overbearing. We felt truly relaxed. The location is quiet but accessible to many attractions. The property is really charming and historical and has ample parking and beer garden.

One of the most welcoming and cosy pubs in the southwest. The owners were also very flexible with dietary requirements. The food and service is excellent with an outstanding Christmas menu. A massive plus that it's accessible for wheelchairs and dog friendly. Faultless. Thank you.

Located in a tiny village just a few miles from Exeter this little gem of a pub with rooms is well worth a visit. The rooms play well to the heritage of the building and are nicely presented in a way that is in keeping with the building itself. 

Like all old buildings it creaks and the floors aren’t always level, but the electric shower is surprisingly better than I’d expected and the bed was super comfy. Once the lights are out it is a lovely quiet location and we slept like logs. 

Breakfast was a treat, done just right.

We stayed at this beautiful characterful Inn for 2 nights and had a fantastic time, very pleasant atmosphere, very friendly and helpful staff, excellent ales and amazing food, will definitely return   

Having stayed here, recently, on business, I felt very privileged to have stayed in such an old prestigious Inn. Staff were friendly and accommodating. There wasn’t anything they would not do for me, if it was within their capabilities. This was even providing a toothbrush and toothpaste as I had forgotten mine!

The menu had everything for everybody. I had the venison Wellington,  this is the best I had ever tasted. However, if I wanted ham egg and chips, this was also available.

The room I had was the smallest without an ensuite. This served me well, there was a dressing robe in the wardrobe for my privacy, popping to my bathroom across the hall.  There was a hand basin within the room. The price reflected this at only a £60 for single occupancy, bed and breakfast.

The breakfast in the morning, although after having the venison the night before I probably had eyes bigger than my belly. There was so much to choose from - devilled kidneys if you’re brave, but I highly recommend the full English, which sets you up for the day, plenty of tea and coffee, plenty of toast and a starter of yoghurt porridge or granola.

I will certainly be back. I am so used to being booked in to travel lodges or Premier Inns. Yes they might have Wi-Fi but hands down the NoBody Inn wins my approval.

Barley the Inn’s Labrador is the best

A fantastic pub that has plenty of character I stayed here for two nights and it was a fantastic experience.

Do not book a room here expecting a modern experience like phone charging ports by the bed and super fast WiFi because that's not what you will get.

What you do get is a period property with nice clean rooms a very comfortable bed and in most cases a ensuite bathroom you also get tea and coffee making facilities and a TV.

The pub offers a fantastic range of food in it's restaurant Breakfast is included and is very good with plenty of choice.

I have to mention the Sirloin steak was the best I have ever had.

We have become regulars at the Nobody over the last few months as we stay there after dropping our son off at Exeter university. Every stay is a pleasure. The food is unfailingly amazing (steak and ale pie with horseradish mash!). The beers are superb. And the breakfasts! The building is a bit creaky but that only adds to the charm. The staff are very friendly and professional. I thoroughly recommend this little pub oasis in a Devon valley.

Been here many times in the past for a day trip and never explored the local countryside. so decided a it was about time I took my partner for a weekend. Usual friendly welcome, our room ( the one with the 4 poster) was clean tidy and quirky as expected. We at in the restaurant both night, all meals excellent incl breakfast. Will defo be back.

Beautiful old historic village inn. We stayed for 3 nights and had a fabulous time. The staff are all very friendly and welcoming. The room was great - very clean, comfy bed, fluffy towels. Furnished really well to fit with the age of the inn, but with all mod cons too. The breakfasts were amazing, with a really wide choice. We even tried the devilled kidneys which were lovely. Would highly recommend the Nobody Inn - a complete break from the hustle and bustle of life, in a beautiful setting with friendly staff, great rooms and lovely food. Oh - and an AMAZING malt whisky selection as well! Thank you all for making our stay so great.

Beautiful historic inn - highly recommended

Sue and the Nobody Inn recently hosted our wedding dinner. It was a true feast! Sue worked with us on the planning so we could cater for vegetarian and vegan guests as well as meat eaters. The food was phenomenal, the organisation amazing and the atmosphere perfect. We appreciate it so much. Thanks so much Sue and the team.
