After reading all the recent reviews, I was worried that I made a mistake booking with the Residence Inn in Kensington. However, my experience was so different that I felt it was only fair to the hotel that I shared my personal experience. We stayed here during the summer but luckily not during a heat wave. Highs were in the low to mid 70s F during our entire stay. We had a north facing two-bedroom suite and our A/C unit definitely worked. Housekeeping did a great job cleaning daily and we probably had more clean towels than we needed. There was a wide variety of foods at the breakfast buffet that worked for everyone in our family. I did our laundry on two different weekdays and didn’t have an issue finding an available washer or dryer. However, I was doing laundry in the afternoon while my little kids rested and other people were likely sightseeing. Location was ideal; it’s in a quiet part of Kensington that is only about half a mile away from all the action and the nearest tube station. Huge plus that it’s next to a Tesco. We would definitely stay here again!
