Had a little weekend away and really enjoyed ourselves, they are dog friendly which is a god send, Thank you Mellisa and Billy for having us, we will be coming back very soon.

This charming little gem of a hotel is ideal for families and four legged ones too! From the moment we arrived, the staff were very friendly, helpful and professional. The rooms were clean and to a good standard and the beds were very comfortable. The breakfast was excellent. There is also free parking by the hotel with 24/7 CCTV cameras. It is a 5 minute walk away to the beach and approximately 10 minute stroll to the famous Blackpool tower.

I would just like to say a big thank you to all the kind hardworking staff who made our stay there so welcoming and relaxing.  
It has been an absolute pleasure staying there and definitely value for money.

We shall be booking again in the near future.

We have been to this hotel about 5 times in the past year for short breaks and have now just finished a 2 week stay here, The Woodley hotel is by far the best hotel we have stayed in Blackpool, immaculate room, great breakfast and in an ideal location close to the dog friendly part of the beach and also close to bars and restaurants

We booked here on the spur of the moment, we arrived early morning and even though we could not get in until the afternoon, they let us park our car up. They were the most friendliest people you would like to know. For what we paid the room was worth it. Yes it could do with updating but with the big hotel groups building new hotels around Blackpool, people would not pay the small family run hotels the money, which is a shame. These people have worked hard all these years and will soon be a thing of the past. You don’t get the same friendly service or personal touches that you would in a family run place.

Charming Little Gem of a Hotel

Best hotel we have stayed in, in Blackpool

Brilliant and friendly staff

Just come back from staying at this hotel. The price was so cheap so didn’t expect the Hilton ! The room was very small for 5 persons, very bad decor & old fashion but clean. The en-suite was very very old fashion but it did it’s purpose.
That’s the negative. But positive the owner billy & his employee Melissa was so helpful. They went out their way to make our stay enjoyable. They gave my children money to play on the Pac-Man machine & money to play pool. Our TV didn’t work and immediately brought a working replacement. The breakfast cooked by Billy was small but tasted lovely and was cooked to a high standard. 
All in all we enjoyed our self, hotel us run down but didn’t affect or ruin our break , as the hospitality made up for it. 
The location is perfect as only a 10 minute walk to everything.

You pay for what you get

Just been here for a few days. The staff are 100% lovely, helpful and friendly. Hotel is totally dog friendly which is brilliant and close to the beach. They have free parking for 4 cars and we managed to get this so bonus. The hotel itself is very worn, the carpets need changing and everywhere would benefit from a deep clean and redecoration. That being said our room was clean enough, the bedding was spotless and you can have a shower.
Can't complain about our stay here nothing was too much trouble for the staff so if you're happy for a clean bed and a breakfast and want to take your dog or dogs. Not going to take much notice of outside your room then give it a go.

Not bad

We stayed for the Bank Holiday weekend.

The staff there were very friendly to us, The area allocated for car parking was useful during a busy weekend for Blackpool.

Breakfast was nice, plenty of toast, tea and coffee and a pretty good cooked breakfast.

The hotel though its on its last legs, everywhere is worn or broken.

Our shower was freezing or crazy hot, room was dirty (sorry, but it was) there were stains on the bed sheets which didn't fit the bed properly and the mattress sank. The radiator was on (no way of turning it off) during a hot August Bank Holiday which also didn't help.

It's a real shame because they genuingly were lovely people to talk to.

I didn't think it was expensive but it still didn't meet our low expectations - sorry!

Nice people, needs a clean

We booked before the covid 19 came in before March we were due to go that weekend. We were still going to go but the hotel said they were closing and still took my money. They said they would refund my money. Booking.com got in touch with them and they were supposed to contact me again nothing. 
Very disappointed with how we have been treat and they shouldn't have taken our money knowing they were not opened.

I didn’t realise such hotels actually existed. How they are allowed to be open for business is beyond me. The smell walking in is enough to put you off!!! We had to find alternative accommodation and was refused our money back. The room hadn’t been cleaned in god knows how long!!! Dried sick 🤢 patch down the side of the bed, dirty carpets, dried sick in sick, mouldy, damp bathroom floor, broken ladder on bunk bed, broken bannister on top of stairs, cobwebs, the list is endless.
Only plus side was that the bedding looked clean but that’s probably because no one actually stays to sleep in it and I can guarantee that you’d probably wake with bites. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!!!

 stayed here the weekend with my family! Shocking. The room was FILTHY we had no HOT water in the room was told to run the shower and it would be 20mins before water got up to us!! The carpets was BLACK! AND STICKY! my daughters clothes had to be thrown away as the black won't come out of her stuff. 
The bathroom floor was black and wet. The toilet cistern was hanging off. There wasn't NO SAFETY locks on the windows of a family room.. i took my 2 children who as disabled and who has adhd and autism. She was always near the window looking out! Had to get her away as the drop was shocking. I was unable to unpack for the weekend as we had wet coffee all the the draws. The dust in the room was filthy! Like it wasn't even cleaned or checked booking.com SHOULDN'T be allowed to allow anyone took book. The bathroom was filthy! When raised the complaint with booking.com they said the woodley hotel had told them we was offered another room 100% LIES! WE WASNT OFFERED ANYTHING! 

Avoid!!!!!!
