Spent enjoyable couple of days visiting the illuminations with family. B&B a little dated but our room was quiet and very clean. Very comfy beds with nice clean sheets and towels plenty of tea and coffee in the room. Staff fantastic especially Pippa who served our lovely breakfasts was very friendly and couldn’t do enough for us. Kevin the owner very welcoming and very helpful. In a great location very close to the tower and town centre and coral island. Highly recommend this B&B. Great value for money.

Nice place to stay

Hotel is a little dated and could do with a bit of a makeover. Smelt a bit musty. Our room was clean but the heater was not screwed onto  the wall properly , the shower didn't work properly. Furniture was like from when I was a kid. Bed was comfy. Nice clean towels.
The saving grace for the b & b was the breakfast it was very enjoyable and very nice and always hot. Nothing too much trouble for the 2 staff members who were serving breakfast. In a great location near to Blackpool centre and central pier and cotal island. 

Dont think I'd stay here again.

AMAZING weekend, would definitely recommend this b and b, the staff are fantastic, the bar downstairs is just the size coral island 2 minute walk limited car space outside, but main car park just across the road £22 for 48 hours well we’re the trip 👏👏👏👏👏

ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC 

Staff were very polite, Very clean and quiet, we spent a lovely 4 days during Easter holiday,  plenty of tea and coffee, comfortable bed I would highly recommend this place,

This was my first visit to Blackpool and certainly not my last. The owners Kevin and Pat were very friendly and took good care of me. I enjoyed my breakfasts, the staff took my daily order as not to waste any food. My room was nice and quiet. It had everything I needed. The location was nearby the busstop and shops around the corner the beach  was a 5 minute walk. Close to the Tower, Sea Life and Madam Toussaud. The cinema,theater and gym is a 10 minute walk away. I certainly intend on coming back to Manuela Rose in the future.

Home away from home

Room was very dated and needed a fresh coat of paint, bed was a cheap metal frame one that squeaked each time you moved. Having read earlier reviews we expected a friendly welcome, the owner hardly spoke to us and was more concerned about looking at his mobile! Shower was boiling hot i burnt my chest and the knob to turn down the temperature was so stiff to get it to a comfortable heat. We went to the lounge on the 1st night it smelt of damp and the stairs going down there were quite steep and didn't feel very safe, it felt as if you were going down to a dungeon!

Disappointed

Nice B&B, needs abit of redecorating as it’s super old school! Breakfast was nice and Kelly was more than accommodating the best member of staff there!!!
The rooms were ok, but there was a constant smell of weed throughout which was really unpleasant especially since we had kids in out party ! Extremely unprofessional.
The man who I think is the manager was rather rude and unwelcoming about us drinking in the bar downstairs, we thought as a big party he would appreciate the income after these hard times but he made it very clear he would rather be at home in bed making us feel extremely unwelcome and uncomfortable.

Kelly was great

First time we have stayed in Blackpool in over 40 years and went with 3 other couples and stayed here based on reviews on trip advisor.
Hotel was central and handy for where we wanted to go.
It was clean , bedroom was adequate and all facilities worked, decor was a little dated and needed updating but probably par for the course .
Staff very helpful & friendly.
Breakfast was excellent and service very good and food quickly served.
You were offered cereal first then your main breakfast , tea and coffee was plentiful as was the toast , no brown bread on first morning but they had it there on 2nd morning after taking note one of the party didnt eat white bread which impressed us with their attention to detail, young girl on duty was excellent.
They had a bar in the establishment and although we didnt use it, prices were very reasonable. 
So if you are looking for somewhere central , clean and a good breakfast then i would recommend a stay here.

3 day stay

Our 2nd stay at this lovely hotel.Kevin the owner and his staff are very friendly and welcoming. Breakfast  has got to be one of Blackpools best,and served very quickly. Bar prices are cheaper than some of the local pubs and a good atmosphere  is generated

Excellent

Stayed here for the weekend and i must say what a lovely hotel. It's in a great location and the rooms are really nice and spotlessly clean. The owner is very friendly and the breakfast was hot and tasty, the girls serving were lovely and you didn't wait long. All in all a great hotel for what we paid and we will definitely return. Thanks you
