Haydarpasha Palace Hotel

Hotel The hotel itself is beautiful. My son actually thought he was staying in a palace. It is spotlessly clean and the rooms are amazing. We had a duplex, which was huge. My only complaint about this was that although it was separate floors it was open plan so not much privacy from the kids. The cleaners do a great job and the fridges are refilled daily with Fanta, coke, water, juice and lager. We had two large bathrooms which was perfect with a teenager. We had a past sea view which looked onto the orchard which was perfect because the pool views get noisy until 11pm when all entertainment stops. Entertainment The animation team are brilliant and work constantly all day into the night. The kids disco is the best and biggest I’ve seen in any hotel and the chap that seems to be in charge is great. Night time entertainment was hit and miss. In the end we preferred to sit and have a drink on the terrace and listen to the live music. Pools and loungers The pools are spotlessly clean and the main one is huge. The hotel was at capacity this week, but even so the pool is big enough to accommodate. The kids section is great with a large splash park and a bouncy water thing which the kids lived, there are lifeguards around the pool 10-5pm. There are loads of lingers up until 9.30am. But get there earlier if you want one around the kids pool or a specific spot around the pool. There is also an adult infinity pool for quiet time without the kids. Food The food is great. The best selection of food at an all inclusive that I’ve ever seen. If you’re expecting full English then go to Benidorm. I’d your happy to try new things it’s perfect, that being said everyday there was chicken nuggets, pasta, chips pizza etc. There were three places to each lunch time. The pool bar, beach bar and restaurant. All definitely worth a try. The restaurant staff are great. Particularly Milac and Mehmet who were great and couldn’t do enough. There is some sort of food available 24 hours a day. Beach The sea was sadly not so good but that’s not the fault of the hotel. It just naturally contained a lot of sea weed which made it black and not great to swim in. In all I recommend this hotel. It’s perfect for children. I would love to go back.
