The studio solution is a good compromise for privacy, especially if you have children. The location in front of the beach/pineta is excellent. To be improved: cleaning service (smart lady often asked you if you wanted to change the towels), WIFI signal in the studio area, clarity of the hours of the restaurant/grill on the beach (they closed at different times depending on the customer)

A Good Solution

The beach is sandy, clean, with lots of shelters under umbrellas, you can put a shed under the trees. On the beach there is a bar with fast food and beer, there is a music bar, a children's pool, toilets, changing rooms and showers. Catamarans are rented out. You can go into the water in swimming shoes, you can go on a sea voyage!! The water is clean, the shoreline is wide and long. For money you can go and stay without visiting the hotel. There is a free pre-parking area. On the hotel's territory there is a swimming pool, a restaurant around it, a variety of music outlets.

Ordinary hotel with a fancy beach

The checkin time is 2 pm. When we arrived we waited around 45 minutes since the room was not ready. The receptionist did not really follow up the situation. Poor quality hotel overall. Do not recommend it...

Not a professional type hotel

I don't know if I give the 4 points to the city of Foça or to the hotel. Anyway, I was very happy with the vacation. The staff is nice and helpful. The food gets 4 out of 5 points. There is live music every night. The singing didn't suit my taste, however. The beach is clean, but gravel. The sea is very beautiful (blue flag), partly very well-wavy. The weather is tolerable due to the constant wind. The facilities need to be completely renovated. The furniture is old, but functional. Our villa was clean and comfortable. Summa summa I can imagine dropping off here again the next time you visit Foça.

Mega old but functional

Convenient for families especially. I’ve checked-in the beach part for a couple of times recently. Silent and peaceful. Good for the ones keep it low and prefer domestic vacations. Not for couples or singles looking for the beat. 


Family Beach

We were at Hanedan Resort for a wedding, and the location is absolutely gorgeous! Hotel rooms were clean and comfortable, and the air con worked well on a very hot day! Front desk staff were helpful and efficient. The beach is beautiful, and the beachfront restaurant efficient and pleasant - not exceptional food choices, but what they served was good.

There were problems with what was planned for the wedding and what the event staff actually delivered, however. Not entirely sure where the miscommunication happened, but there were several issues.

Restrooms on the beach - imagine going into a restroom in your lovely wedding dress, only to find the floor soaking wet, restroom stalls filthy, with wet paper strewn everywhere! A bit of attention to the restrooms would have been nice.

The couple had been promised that the beach would be cleared of people prior to the ceremony - but just as the wedding was to start, there were many people still on the beach, right behind the wedding pavilion! It fell to the groom and his friends to fix this, as staff wasn't helpful.

During dinner on a very hot night it was sometimes hard to get the attention of the serving staff to get drinks, or even water! The bar staff ignored some guests. 

While i could recommend the resort for a holiday visit, i'm not sure i would recommend it for a wedding.

Beautiful wedding location - some issues with details

Good place for groups, couples with kids. It has a pool, walking distance to the beach. The unit where we stayed had two rooms. Rooms are reasonably priced. It is in a natural setting, located on a bay and far away from other resorts and hotels. Foca itself is a beautiful coastal town. It is the ancient Phocea, but there are hardly any ruins left.

The staff at the Hanedan Resort went out of their way to give us a good time when we visited for a short break at the beginning of May. Whilst it is acknowledged that it could benefit from some investment in some areas,  the food was excellent and the staff were extremely helpful. Great value for money

Fantastic service

My wife and I had a great time at Hanedan resort for our honeymoon.  We stayed here for 3 nights, splitting our time during the day between the nearby town of Foca and relaxing on the beach by the hotel.  The staff was very friendly and helpful, our rooms were just what we needed, and the food and drinks were great.  We would definitely go back!

I was on vacation with my family.The hotel was very nice and the rooms were refurbished.The beach is at the foot of the hotel.The food was very good and varied.Excellent price ratio.
