Yel Holiday Resort - All Inclusive

Our first visit to Turkey this fabulous Hotel did not disappoint! Needing no hassle short break after receiving great news about my partner Gary’s cancer being undetectable after radiotherapy and wanting to celebrate my 60th birthday we headed to Hotel Yel. A later than planned arrival at the hotel due to issues with passengers on our flight out the staff were waiting to welcome us. We booked in, passports checked and rooms allocated. We received the correct room the next day but the staff were very good and the manager sorted quickly for us on the Wednesday. The cleaner made a beautiful display on our bed of swans and roses it was exquisite. Our room was cleaned every day with fresh towels etc. Our room was spacious and light and even overlooking the pool and entertainment stage the noise was not an issue. The bed was super comfy and lovely pillows. We both slept well during our stay. The food was superb. We were all inclusive and each day we had breakfast, lunch, snacks, homemade cake and then dinner in the evening. Despite being almost full you never needed to queue. The salad bar is kept on the left of the dining room, the hot food storage is in the centre allowing easy flow of guests around and the drinks area is at the other end of the room. The Bar B Q area is outside also where fresh omelettes and pancakes are prepared for breakfast every morning. There was a wide variety of food every day always freshly prepared and delicious. The food was superb! The pool is cold but that is something you experience everywhere now. Super clean and crystal clear. The entertainment team was headed up by Gaget and Gizmo who provided daily water gym, killer darts, pool etc if you wanted to join in. There was no pressure. In the evenings acrobats from Kenya, Belly Dancers, Bingo and Karaoke and dancing were provided for entertainment. There was excellent variety and fabulous talent on show. The staff in the bar, dining room, kitchen, reception, pool area, cleaners, gardeners etc were really polite and went out of their way to make our stay chilled and memorable. We cannot speak more highly of ALL the staff they were superb. We chilled, relaxed, ate and drank for 7 wonderful days. We visited Oludeniz and Hisarona lovely little villages. The sun shone every day. We took taxis from the hotel for our excursions with a fabulous system opposite the hotel press a button and a taxi comes in 3-4 minutes its excellent! We used GBP during our stay this seemed to be the most desirable currency for all. Being in the mountains the views are stunning and the countryside is amazing. We had a blast on our first short adventure and we want to thank EVERYONE we met at Hotel Yel for making our stay magical. Thank you
