VONRESORT Golden Coast - All Inclusive

We have just returned from a week as a group of three families and had a fantastic time. We had high expectations from what we had looked at before out holiday and these were exceeded. Rooms: The rooms were larger than we expected (two bedroom family suites) and the air conditioning worked really well during temperatures up to 45c outside. The rooms were clean and kept clean and tidy. The free drinks in the fridges were refilled daily. There is lots of storage along with a safe. Staff: All the staff were really friendly and helpful. One of the waiting team, Sehmus S., looked after our table on three of our nights and was so friendly and helpful. He helped us find tables and put some together for our large group. He was a fantastic member of the team and a credit to Von Resorts. Food: A big selection of food was available in the main restaurant and we always found something we liked. The Baklava and breads were amazing! We loved Cydonia Food Corner at lunchtimes for grilled meat and salad and also the pancakes at the Gozleme House. Milkshakes and Frappes at the Coffee House were also popular with our group. Facilities: There was a good selection of cocktails at the bar and the Efes beer was cold and really nice. No problems with queueing for long at the bars. The waterpark had great slides and the main pool is large and never felt crowded. We also loved the beach. All of these had enough sunbeds and we always found beds whatever time we went. Bottles of water were available in many places to take and this was very useful in the hot weather. Entertainment: We watched the stunt show which was great but our highlight was live music on the pier. It was a lovely setting and the acts were fantastic. The Miladies group in particular on Monday were amazing! I had read some negative comments before going and we did not experience any of this in our week stay, in fact, quite the opposite. Staff were lovely, especially if you acknowledge them, are polite and friendly to them too. There were some cats around but not many. Wifi coverage and service was excellent all over the resort - rooms, restaurants/bars, poolside and even on the pier. We would also recommend a Dolmus trip to Side old town in an evening. Buses on route 4 stop nearby every 10 minutes and are really cheap. We would definitely recommend VonResort Golden Coast and would love to return.
