Mirada Exclusive Bodrum

The Mirada Exclusive Bodrum is absolutely beautiful. Our family of 5 stayed 4 days in a sea view family suite. The room was very clean and we had a cute orange cat outside that came and visited us everyday. I gave her water and food everyday. She seemed so hot. Bodrum is very hot in the summer, I did not expect it to be that hot. I wish the hotel would leave water out for the cats. Vedat at the buffet was wonderful everyday. Ali at the front bellhop was great also. Berdan at the beach deck was so wonderful everyday as well! The kids loved diving off the pier straight into the sea and swimming to the wood island. They also did parasailing. The restaurants were wonderful. Pepper and Sirtakis was excellent and we highly recommend, but keep in mind they are 15 Euros per person. The buffets were really good and better than any all-inclusive we stayed in. We are disappointed we couldn’t get into Sunset. Everything was great until the last day when our daughter who is allergic to nuts had a major reaction to one of the meat appetizer rolls at Sirtakis. We asked if it had nuts and they said no. I feel like some of the servers don’t know English and this reaction almost costed daughter’s life. The language barrier was tough in this situation. We ran her to the med clinic and they were helpful. The nurse there knew Arabic, so we spoke to her in Arabic. We quickly got steroids from the nearest pharmacy, this is something they should keep on hand for allergies. I definitely think the kitchen needs to work on food contamination and labeling foods at the buffet with allergens. Like….(N, D, G) ….nuts, dairy, gluten. I still am giving the hotel a 5 star review for cleanliness, and service. However, we would like to be invited back after they work on their food allergies because this ruined our stay! W exact wait to come back!
