Prachuap Khiri Khan

Not far from the border with Miami, a very quiet town suitable for families, little fun at night, but for those looking for relaxation like me, it's fine.

Holidays

The hostel is clean. The double rooms have a common terrace overlooking the sea. Unfortunately, you can't enjoy the room because there are no windows, only blinds. This makes the room dark. We would have liked a warmer reception and more advice. I think you can find a better quality/price ratio in the city.

Perfect hotel, 4-bed air-conditioned bedroom, very clean and personal, helpful and smiling, possibility of renting a scooter all at very low price in the seafront near Ao Manao Beach, and all amenities

Stop to Prachuap Khiri Khan

Clean rooms, clean bathrooms and showers! I accidentally left my swimming shorts to bathroom and someone washed them! Hosts were really helpful so as the whole crew around there! They even invited us to eat and spend the evening with them! They made some local food and we had great conversations with them! I would definitely recommend this place for everyone! 

Lovely hosts and perfect place to stay

The paper-thin walls did not make my stay great the dogs and party next door where horrible to sleep early. But I was the only visitor for two days in a 4 bed dorm and that was nice. The owner got mad because I did not understand him well when he gave me the wifi password and after that waved me to the restaurant next door.. Go there.. Alright, when next door and had a good meal. But the party after that was not good for my rest. The next day the restaurant was closed so no noise! 
It was quite hard to find a decent place to eat around this hostel because somehow everything was closed and empty so that was quite the challenge! The bathrooms where clean but that's because I was the only guest I think. 

4 bed dorm right next to beach 

I turned up on a Friday night and they had 3 spare beds left in the dorm, and my one was extremely comfy. The man was superb and I felt very welcomed by him and I paid for one night. The next morning I said to one of the maids that I will stay one more night, to which "ok" was replied back. However when I returned in the afternoon after exploring all day, my stuff had been removed, the place was full and the maid seemed to have forgotten or just not understood my request previously. I suppose I will take the blame on that one but I couldn't hide my disappointment as it was now evening and had nowhere to stay. 
Cue the owner's wife. Hadn't see her before up to this point, she was extremely hostile with me, I had UNDERARM threw the key back to her in a casual "Catch" type manner (she missed the catch though)... to which as my back was turned she launched a plank of wood at my head. Clearly I was mad, retort retort retort from both sides, and as I'm leaving, she pulls out a gun and points it at me...  now at this stage I just want to make it clear that I NEVER give bad reviews, I don't like that I can hurt someone's business because of my unfortunate experiences if I ever have them, and clearly I'm still in that mindset because I'm still giving the place a "2 star" and not a cold hearted "1"... but what the hell is a foreigner supposed to do in that situation??
I called the police, they were passing me around on the other end of a line until someone understood "gun pointed at me" but luckily for the owner's wife, her husband returned, we had a chat, he profusely apologised for his wife's psychotic actions, and I promised not to continue the call (in England, the emergency services usually follow up with calls to the number who called them to make sure everything is OK,  but I guess not in Thailand). I also battled with myself for whether or not write this review... but i am leaving the country very soon and need to keep myself away from police activity, as I am awaiting a visa to somewhere else. However, I will finish this essay on this: stay at your own risk; only deal with the husband; make sure that when you book a night that you've paid up front (which having lived in Thailand for 3 years I know is rarely a requirement until afterwards).... the location is great though,  right on the beach!

A roller coaster of a stay...

เข้าพักโฮสเทลนี้กับเพื่อนๆ ในช่วงสงกรานต์ปีที่แล้ว เป็นโฮสเทลขนาดกะทัดรัด แต่สะอาด นอนสบายห้อง พัก 1 คืน ราคาประมาณ 500 บาท/2 คน เจ้าของเป็นคู่สามีภรรยาเป็นกันเอง คุยเก่งชวนดื่มสังสรรค์ทั้งคืน ตอนเช้าสามารถเดินเล่นชมพระอาทิตย์ขึ้นหน้าที่พักได้ ตลาดเช้าเดินเลาะไปด้านหลังไม่ถึง 300 เมตร 

staying here for 1 night with friends , the room costs 500 Baht/ 2 people. 
This hostel is clean and located on good location (facing to the sunrise beach and near morning market just 3 minutes walk) 
The owner is really friendly.

โฮสเทลเล็กๆติดทะเล ใกล้ตลาดเช้า

The hostess was very welcoming, very smiling, very friendly. The rooms with sea views are very nice, large and clean. A big plus for the large terrace with a beautiful sea view. The bathroom is large and clean. Fruit and beverages are available throughout the day. Close to restaurants where seafood is served every day. Finally, the staff are very kind and helpful.

Home more than friendly bosses, good advice for the surrounding temples, monkeys have a few steps and a Buddha hides in a cave has a few minutes of tuk tuk pleasant evening in their company top for two days in transfer to the islands if you are meat lovers and good mojitos the deck just next is to try

It's a beautiful step.

Super small guesthouse! the bosses Jim and Noi are very welcoming and good advice. the rooms are very clean and equipped with climates (and we were in the dormitory). the common toilets are also very clean with hot water and soap supplied. the location is ideal, we are facing the sea, the city center is not far away, several small local restaurants are nearby and the famous monkey temple (khao chong kra chokmin) is barely 15 feet away. we spent two nights at their house, and the last night very good evening with them! only little bemool: the authorization. thank you jim and Noi!
