OZO Phuket

i booked this hotel since there is a splash pool available for my kid and my family was not disappointed! my family arrived late in the evening and receptionist handling our check-in (May, if i am not wrong) quickly handled the process and was friendly and courteous. About 10mins later, we were shown the way to our room. we were allocated the family room which was at another block and away from the noise of the main street, perfect for us! room is very clean, and had all the necessary accessories such as toothpaste & toothbrush, comb, sanitary bag and sewing kits. It has a small balcony where we can hang our wet clothes to dry which is very thoughtful. there are bottled water in the room, and can always request for more. there are also fans for ventilation if the aircon is too cold. I think the only thing i wasn't happy with, was the way the 2 linked door opens up to block the way from the beds to the toilet. So you had to slightly close the door before going to the toilet. From another gate, you can make your way to the beach which is about 5mins walk away and it is very convenient. At the front of the hotel, there are many gifts shops, massage parlours and restaurants to indulge in. But be aware of all the weed shops lined up along the main street as well. there is a night market as well, but i would say there are more food stalls than things to buy. The breakfast was one of the best hotel breakfast i ever had. there is a huge spread, ranging from Western to Asian cuisine. There is also an egg station available, together with another area for kids to select their breakfast from. Not forgetting to mention the restaurant staff, Noi and Porn (if i remember correctly), who remembered i was looking for a 4 seater inside, and redirected me to the table once it was available. Do come early for breakfast as there is a crowd at about 830am onwards. I had also booked the In-Camp adventure experience for my kid, and he was thrilled to see it in the room! he had a fun time playing with the lights and also the 2 soft plushies he gotten as part of the experience. Not to forget the 2 ice cream treats that come with it! It was a wonderful trip and it was made nicer with all the smiles from all the staff. As parents, the most important thing is to see their kid happy and I am glad this hotel met our expectations in many ways. Though it was a long drive from the international airport, it was worth it in the end. Will definitely look forward to coming back!
