Note to prospective guests: once you have entered through the main gateway, walk straight ahead till the corner of the hotel and turn right for the check-in desk. I’m very pleased with my stay at Baan Pinkaew Hotel. The owner was friendly and once I’d completed all the check-in details, showed me straight to my room on the bottom floor. No smoking room. The room is modern, clean and fresh. Comfy double bed and bedside tables, refrigerator, flat-screen television (with one English news channel), desk, large wardrobe free bottled water/coffee and a kettle. The room has nice decor with Thai art pieces on the walls and shelf behind the bed. Also plenty of plug sockets dotted around the room. A good air conditioning unit was also present in the room and there was a small balcony for drying clothes or smoking etc. The bathroom is modern and clean. Western toilet and shower, sink and mirror. Free toiletries (bog roll, shower gel and shampoo etc.) were provided with plenty of fresh towels. Lots of spare pillows in the wardrobe! Bonus!
