Landlady spoke no English. When we saw disassembled toilet and paint brushes and many tools in our room, we figured she hadn't known we were coming. We had paid on line, but she didn't seem to know that either and showed us on her calculator the price of the room. She finally let me use a toilet in another room, we went out and toilet was fixed when we got back. We stayed two nights because the room was lovely and we had already paid. There were free bikes. There was no breakfast and once she realised we weren't going to pay her, she disappeared and there was no water or tea for our second day. We told her we were leaving at 930 when she emailed and asked her to order us a cab. No landlady, no cab, I locked her 4 doors and stuck the key in the mailbox. Unless you speak Mandarin, don't even bother staying there despite the nice room. Too stressful trying to figure out whether she is trying to scam or not.
