The B&B we stayed in was newly built, in an area that is currently being redeveloped, so there were a lot of roadworks. However, this did not detract from our stay but did make walking around the local area a little tricky.The service was excellent. There was kitchen/eating area in which you could make tea, coffee, use the microwave oven and even steam buns (包子) kindly provided by the owner. In the morning breakfast was provided by a local 小吃店 and there was a choice between western and more local foods.The B&B was less than 5 minute walk from Taitung train station and a 10 minute drive to the city centre.
