Very very BAD EVERY Thing was dirty!!!! And also for this facts he took toooo much money from us and was not friendly this K.L is far away from reality!! I really wants neeeever travek again in this way ti Switzerkand!

They just cancelled my reservation. Now I will have to find a place to stay while I work at Basel.

Prices just went up that week in the city, raising up and up with the time.

I would like to speak well about it, but I need to sleep these days to go to work.

Cancelled my reservation

Unfortunately, our apartment was dirty (everything above/below the view of a person standing is simply not cleaned) The furnishings are a mess (tabletop without connection, back oven without door, bed broken down, etc.) The bathroom is molded. The balcony is life-threatening due to the non-removal moos at the wet point. Life-threatening also are the flashlights/light switches (only kept by Scotch) The apartment is unannouncedly entered by the owner or by guests in his absence. Unfortunately, the managing director of Basel Rooms: Basel Rooms, Linder, does not seem to be particularly interested in having guests in Rome.

Disappointing and rather cowardly

The Basel Apartments is a very modern and nice apartment hotel - I will definitely use it again. Large and airy rooms, with desk for work and a small kitchen fully equipped with refrigerator and coffee maker. The apartment hotel is located a block away from the hotel that serves as reception and breakfast restaurant.
Positive - extremely friendly staff. Very good quality. Parking in one of two garages a block away. Efficient and works great. Appartments are just above one of the biggest supermarkets in Basel.

You got to consider - it is Basel, so parking on the street is pretty bad. Parking outside the hotel is challenging, so the logistics of getting luggage to the room from where you pick up the key requires a bit of logistics, but as mentioned, the staff is incredibly friendly and nice.
You might not want to use this hotel for a single night, coming in late and leaving next morning, but for a few days, the location is great and the issues with the logistics is not a big deal.

Nice place to stay in downtown Basel

Our apartment was very clean, orderly and convenient. The reception was special but very friendly and hospitable. Because the apartment was in a normal residential building, it was very quiet. (No hotel guests arriving in the middle of the night). We stayed there during the examinations and were absolutely satisfied.

Quiet and comfortable accommodation in the best position

It's was a nice apartment but I have to tell people about the bug situation. When I returned to my room there was about 100 different bugs, flies n insects in bedroom, on the wall in my bed sheets. I told the owner and she didn't seem to care. This spoiled an otherwise average apartment.

We booked this very last minute (only about 6 hours beforehand) and were pleasantly surprised with the accommodation as we were expecting a small basic studio apartment.  It turned out to be light and spacious, with a large living room with three beds, TV, comfortable sofa, tables and plenty of storage space.  On top of that there was a separate reasonably well equipped kitchen and a bathroom, as well as a large hallway.  The bathroom was a bit dated but the whole apartment was spotlessly clean.  The owner contacted us by phone as soon as we had made the online booking, to make arrangements for meeting us on arrival.  We arranged to pay an extra 15 CHF for a secure parking space, which was only two minutes walk away and very convenient, but a very tight squeeze for our car which we unfortunately damaged slightly on our way out!  The location couldn't have been better, in an interesting residential area of Basel, only about 50m from the Rhine which had a very lively atmosphere with all the swimmers and others enjoying the warm summer evening - plenty of places to eat and drink along the banks of the river and in the surrounding streets.  The owner was very friendly and helpful, and gave us cards which entitled us to free use of public transport in Basel - an added bonus to a surprisingly pleasant and affordable overnight visit.

Great budget accommodation in central location

Just stayed here, perfect location, comfy and very livable, very clean and tidy and had all the amenties that you could ever need. Will defintaly be staying here again. We havd a ship that we had to meet in Johanstrasse and it was just a perfect location to stay. Ideal for pre nights before a river cruise or even for a short stay for couples.
