Excellent quiet location, right on the beach  with a beautiful pool, so convenient to easily swim between the sea and the pool.
Genuinely happy and nice staff from Edgar the waiter to the kitchen staff and especially the owner that arranged  a beautiful complementary  birthday cake while we had our seafood dinner on the beach. Everything we asked was delivered and Priyanka also made sure to arrange our transportation to weligama and massage right on the hotel.
Food is excellent and price are also great for the days we wished to just stay in the hotel and chill here. Very easy to get with a tuk tuk to Hikkaduwa center and Galle for some sightseeing, massage and dinner in different restaurants. Excellent breakfast was served few days on demand after the breakfast time as we had a late night check in the day we arrived and another day we had a long massage in the morning.
Felt in a family environment with the comfort of a vacation. 
We definitely gonna be back and recommend to our friends and family to come here!

Excellent family environment in a little paradise.

Hotel a little isolated from the city. A staff, mainly Edgar, who does what they can to satisfy the customer of a establishment that deserves, on the part of the owner, a good renovation, broken or old furniture, no or little wifi, no possibility to pay in CB, no compressors to level the power outages, no toilet in the common areas.

Disappointing

Family vacation to Sri Lanka, 10 days round trip and 5 days relaxing at Nico Beach in Hikkaduwa. 
fantastic pool wiev and ocean view. Nice clean rooms with air conditioning. Nice breakfast served by the pool and beach, with ocean viev.
Staff are most friendly, sweet and helpfull.
Small local shops located 2.min from hotel.
Lots of great resturants in Hikkaduwa which are a 5 min 4 $ tuktuk ride away. hotel can arrange Tuktuk. They have own driver.
The beach and the water is clean. The pool are also clean with clear water.
Close to hotel in walking distance is small Harbour.
Try go early in the morning around 07:00 ( they open at 06:30) the fishermen come to sell fish. Flying fish, blue marlins , tuna, squids, stingrays ect.
We had great time here and will definitely come back, next time in Sri Lanka. 🇱🇰 .

Palms and Ocean view

We had a fantastic stay which was extremely good value for money.  We were greeted by Bianca and the team and they continually checked to ensure we were happy with our stay. It is a fantastic beachside location with the added benefit of a pool.  Edgar was charming and attentive at breakfast time with nothing being too much trouble.Chamilla  was always around with her lovely happy smile and if we needed a tuc tuc to get out and about Manju was always on hand to help us get to our destination.

Great Value for Money !

Very nice cozy rooms. Nice sea and beach view. Good breakfast. Very friendly staffs. Special thanks to Lahiru, Isuru, Edgar and Priyanka. They made sure we had an amazing stay. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a stay at Hikkaduwa.

Amazing service

Super nice accommodation, super nice people there and very familiar, but a little far away from the real thing... over the beach it's about two kilometers walk to the beach's restaurants and bars.

That's a great team, a little bit out of the way.

Proper room, beautiful beach, beachfront, superb breakfast, only bemool is the absence of a restaurant for lunch and dinner. However, there are very good restaurants not crossing the beach. Edgar is always in the minor care. WiFi only at the reception. We had a very nice week, resting and very calm.

Beautiful and restful beachfront

Very friendly staff who are very helpful. Rooms are basic but very clean. Lovely swimming pool that is just a few feet away from the beach. Good wifi connections allowing us to facetime family in the UK. 

Good hotel 

Nico beach Hotel was amazing! Very friendly host that helped with everything. The rooms very clean and each had their own seating area and a balcony. The beach is just so beautiful and you can take a walk to the main beach of Hikkaduwa or take a Tuktuk (1€). Best stay!

Stay at Nico beach Hotel

I had booked the hotel on Booking.com, and when I finally got there, this hotel didn't live up to my expectations, which I saw on the booking.com portal. I immediately went to another hotel to recommend the owner, because she probably didn't want me to write a bad review. There were no umbrellas in the room that we got for 60 euros a night right on the street. There was no traffic down there. We switched to the hotel down there, there were no night tables, and otherwise there was little storage. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone.
