Overall Ok. Location is excellent- close to station and the sights. Lots of restaurants and bars nearby. 
The ground floor with kitchen and basement with hangout room is nice- quirky. 
Rooms are okish- dated compared to other hostels I’ve stayed in. Very noisy rooms- especially if you are road side. There are cats which you can’t see in pictures - worth mentioning if have allergies etc-
Luckily mine not severe. One cat thick drool over areas. 
Staff seem pleasant but didn’t interact very much.

Ok- good location

Stayed for 3 nights (!!!), which, on hindsight, was a tad too many nights. Gyeongju is nice, but most of them could be more than adequately covered in 2 full days.  Hostel is nice, clean and Kaze is always cheerful and helpful.  Floor is sufficiently heated.

Nice, clean and relaxed guesthouse

Great location only a 10 minute walk from Gyeongju Station and a short bus ride away from Seogyeongju Station. Bus stop 2 mins walk away gets you to many of the tourist attractions such as Bulguksa Temple. Only a 5 minute walk to the local street food market open at night for some great street food. Within walking distance of the different hill tombs, Palaces and National Museum.
As a solo traveler I was able to meet some new friends here, so found it a good to meet other travellers especially in the evening and at breakfast.
Very friendly owner who has amazing stories of his own travels and many pictures on the wall documenting them which is great to see.
Great kitchen in the hostel where you can cook your own food with an amazing job and all the pots, pans etc you could need to prepare your meal.
Free breakfast of cereal, toast, eggs (cook them yourself) and orange juice. Always free tea, coffee and water in the hostel.
Can have your laundry done in the hostel for only 4000. Mine took less than 24 hours which was very much appreciated!

The owners have a cat in the hostel which means that some of the common areas smell like stale cat.
Light in the bathroom of the dorm was not that bright.
Common bathroom next to common area wasn't the cleanist.

Central location, amazing owner

More a backpack than a guesthouse but it seems that this term is not too common in South Korea. We spent 3 days in a 4-bed dormitory. The place is clean and the decor is very original. The included breakfast is appreciated. Kaze and her companion are very friendly and helpful. Very good price ratio. Also, Gyeongju is a very friendly city to visit.

Guesthouse/Backpack at the top!

We spent 3 nights at this very nice hostel.  The new owners are so nice and helpful. They were very knowledgeable about the area. They are world travellers, so we had great conversations.  Good breakfast provided, kitchen has all one needs to cook, rooms are nice and cosy.  Bicycles are provided, so it is easy to get around and visit. Highly recommended.

Superb service, cool place

친절하고 위치가 좋습니다. 주차가능하며 근처에 식사 할 만한 곳들이 많습니다. 기차역, 버스터미널 등 여행자들에게 좋은 위치 입니다.  Cool place for stay one night. Friendly staff . Also located in cetral area. Rental cycle available and good breakfast. Awesome . Highly recommand. Try there

Worth it

We came without making a reservation and there was an ondol room available for the night. The guesthouse is as I remember, with the interior having a theme of a bear on his travels on a motorbike. The young lady at the front desk spoke good English, and helped us with booking the Gyeongju City Tour, which I appreciate. There are also two kittens in the main dining area, but during breakfast they are hidden from view. The breakfast here is not your simple bread and toast, but lovingly prepared by the madam of the house, and changes on a daily basis. The previous time I visited it was sandwiches with fruit and fried rice the next day, and this time it was traditional ricecake soup, which Koreans eat during the new year. This was quite apt since it was the first day of 2016, and really delicious too. The boss was away, but his wife did remember me and it felt like coming home. I would visit this place again. Value for money, great location being in the centre between Gyeongju bus terminal and Gyeongju train station, and close to everywhere else. The rooms are clean, the price is right and there's free homemade breakfast! What else can a traveller ask for?

Second time staying here

When I entered the hostel the first thing that pops in was the word wauw! I am so lucky that I choose this place. The center of the ground floor has a very big table, there are bikes and scooters to rent, the young lady who works there speaks very fluent English. There are 3 floors with bedrooms, my bedroom had 4 beds. Bathroom had toilet, sink and bathtub with shower in the tub. The hostel is decorated with lots of cute things, keywords are doo-baki or '2 wheels' and travel.
Between the ground floor and the first floor is a scooter put with a big bear sitting on it. Breakfast in the morning was the best breakfast I had in South-Korea...

Top place

Basically it was very nice. Everything is as the photos say, nice breakfast, tours.... 

We just think it was a bit strange, because everyone is required to be "home" at 12am midnight. The doors have a saftycode, so you would think it doesn't matter what time you would get back. Anyway be back at 12am!!!! To be fair I have to say that we got lucky. As we came down one night at 1am to the lounge area the owner was around and let us out to get to the supermarket and back AFTER 12am. 

The other stranger thing was, that there was nobody there when we arrived. Of course I called the number on the door as soon as we noticed there is nobody to let us in (lucky I have a korean phonenumber). So I called and he said that its no problem and he will be there in 5min. OK no problem. After 15min wait in the rain and a few knocks on the door I called again because nothing happend. Then after another 5min a woman from inside opened. So she must have been inside all the time because you can see the back entrance from the glassdoor at the front. Anyway, not that big of a problem and probably that happens only once in a while. 

Like I said, if you're fine with the "be back at 12am" thing, I guess that is a good accommodation. I just like to make my own decitions, thats all.
