Casa da Arrifana

We had a week-long family reunion at Quinta da Arrifana and wish it never ended. What a beautiful property! We occupied the main house (2 kitchens and 7 bedrooms in total) which is very spacious and comfortable. All bedrooms are equipped with AC and most have en-suite bathrooms. We thoroughly enjoyed the summer kitchen and the renovated pool (which is now at normal depth), the ping pong table as well as the billiard room. The gardens are adorned with many art pieces, statues and azuléjos. The owners as well as Maria the inn keeper were very welcoming and helpful, always ready to answer questions. We used the Quinta as a base to visit the region and our only regret was that there was so much to see that we didn’t spend enough time at the house!
