Ilawa

Quite decent hotel with a very nice view on the port and close to all facilities. The rooms are rather small but perfectly usable. We came in a less touristy time so it was quite quiet everywhere but still enjoyable. Breakfast was OK but the restaurant had almost no vegetarian options hence we did not used it. We had some really nice cocktails at the bar which had been really done with care by the nice bar tender 

Stunning port location, OK hotel

We had two nights in the room with sea view. The location is wonderful by the lake. The dinner was very good and the service was very attentive. The breakfast buffet was very good and rich. The next morning the fully automatic coffee machine didn't run because of water needs, which couldn't be fixed. We were very satisfied 😁 thank you very much

Great seawater and good food

The hotel is located right by the lake, you can walk to the city centre. Our room was very cheap, clean and well equipped. Only the location at the back is not so nice (but okay for the super price.) The breakfast is fresh, rich and very tasty. Especially to recommend is the restaurant, one of the best (the best?!) in Ilawa.

Great location, very good restaurant, great breakfast

I was for an overnight stay here on business trip.
My colleague has booked the hotel and we were warmly welcomed by a pleasant lady smiling to us.
Many people underestimate the importance of a warm welcome, after a long tiring trip, and it gives the first impression to the place you're about to stay: so, a person welcoming you with a smile and taking care of your arrival with proper education is the best business card.
We have reached the rooms, and I had two less positive impressions:
1) there is not elevator, and in case you have to lift an heavy bag, it is not good (luckily there is only one floor as I could see);
2) the rooms were a bit cold, and with two single beds, I felt disappointed, because I prefer a matrimonial bed, unfortunately all were busy.
The breakfast was ok, but honestly speaking, in spite the good appearance, could be improved both in quantities and in variety.
The breakfast room is very nice and roomy, with a stunning view of the lake and the fireplace makes the place very romantic.
I had there a dinner, with an unexpectly good spaghetti seafood, and at the end a good charlotka (apple pie).
Well, ultimately the hotel enjoys a fantastic view and a few improvements can make it a very nice experience.

Good potential, a few details to a very nice experience

Very clean modern rooms with nice bathroom. Our room had lovely view of Jeziorak Lake. 
Great breakfast buffet with local food. Friendly staff.
Lunch menu with local and international cuisine- simply delicious.

Modern Hotel with stunning surroundings 

I stayed there with family in the summer high season. The hotel has some advantages (location, own marina with equipment rental) but it's heavily overpriced comparing to the standard and size of the rooms, and quality of the food in the restaurant (both breakfast and menu). Not recommended for longer stays, you will get bored unless you only sleep there and dine somewhere else.

Not so good price/quality ratio

Third time in there years here. The hotel has a great location by the lake. We stayed in the suite with a big balcony. This room also has aircondition, which the standard roooms doesn't. The restaurant is very good also. It is a walking distance to the city. 

Great hotel, great rooms

Look out for the service and disappointing and staff and regularly replace the boss and not always present, quality and not at appointment, we waited until the end of the meal for the waiter to bring us the wine, the bread was moistened.

Poor cuisine quality was not there

Beautiful lakefront setting, proper and clean room, but no dry hair, no luggage door, we didn't have a don't disturb sign either, so we were woken up by the housekeeping department. Curtains not covering and not extending all the way through the window. But the hotel's equipment is very complete, with a charming reception staff and available. Possibility to go to the sauna after 10:30! 1 hour pedal rental for 4 available for only 5 euros!

pleasant and comfortable hotel

Our premium DZ had a small front room with a desk, sofa, separate bedroom; both rooms were equipped with a new wall TV, overall comfortable. However, the shower head hanging was disastrous. Unfortunately, except for RTL there were no German or English channels.
