My wife and I loved the relaxing stay at this lodge. Edwin looked after our every need. Dinner was tailored to us and was very reasonably priced. Breakfast was excellent and served early to get us to the train station for an early train. The rooms are large and nicely done for a lodge. The central lodge has high ceilings and a great fireplace. At the present time, this lodge is one of the closest lodges from the Piscacucho station from which the trains actually leave for Machu Picchu until the bridge is fixed just a bit north of that station. If you are doing the four-day Inca Trail, this location is close to where you will start even after the train bridge is finally repaired. The staff at the lodge will take you there for a small fee. If you are staying in the Sacred Valley for a few days and doing it at a relaxed pace, this is a great place to do it. I highly recommend it. Joe Scudder
