Nice property, but minimal provisions for 2 bedroom cabin, (ie no salt and pepper). A bit out of the way, but reasonable for the price.

I would love to say it was an amazing experience, since the grounds and architecture is beautiful and well kept,  although communication and treatment was poor at best.  I have traveled all over the world and have never been told you that can only reach the workers within the hours of 8am-6pm. Therefore,  if one has flight or transportation delays you will not get in, even though you paid.  In my case,  the owner responded very rudely and annoyed since I arrive at 6:30pm. I needed help leaving the property for dinner since the key they gave me had difficulties opening the gate, he was clearly choleric.
You definitely need a car to go to this location. 
One of the reasons why I decided to go to rio encantado was because in other reviews people mentioned that for a price,  the bartender would make drinks or cook near the pool. That was not the case,  wren I went.   I was there two nights and every time they saw my family and I they walked away.  The menu was on the counter of the bar,  just no person was there to help us.  
I have to say,  the grounds are very well kept,  clean and tidy.  The sofa beds and pillows need some updating, since it was pretty uncomfortable.  
When I went to the city,  locals mentioned that there was a guy that used to work there and he was the life of the place,  cooked here and there,  and also prepared drinks,  but he is no longer there. 
Needless to say, I do not recommend this place

Excellent for solitude and quietness in contact with nature

It's a very nice place to relax, the manager is very nice, it's close to the river and it's lovely, it doesn't have any food included, but it has the conditions to cook, the clean place, I'm impressed with the woodland, I'd like to come back for a while.

A jewel in the crown.

Our cabin number 3 was in the middle of nature by the river, well equipped. Mosquito nets in all the windows allow us to sleep in the sound of nature. The pool is beautiful, bordered by vegetation. The discreet and smiling owner. A big heart attack for this establishment. Improvement to be expected: the comfort of the sofa bed that served our children is catastrophic. The smell of the antidote is very, very strong

We were heading to the hot springs of Caldera, in the Boquete district of Chiriquí, however, we did not dare to continue, our car was a sedan and we feared that the large stones on the road would damage it. We returned to Boquete, when on the side of the road we saw a place called: Río Encantado. It looked like a private residence and I impatiently told my wife that we were going. She chatted to a cell phone marked at the entrance and opened the electric gate. The charm from the beginning: We waited for José, the manager, in the pool. We gave all the information we needed and decided to pay a $10 pass at 3 o'clock in the morning at the 10 o'clock in the morning...Everything seemed to be fine!

A charming experience.

It was my first visit to this beautiful paradise.you have the opportunity to touch the magic of the natural and the urban at the same time with your own hands.The treatment of its hosts was excellent and without a doubt daily return to anyone who had been hosted previously, with the attention and food.

An unforgettable journey

Most beautiful and memorable place by far during our trip through Panama. Frank is a real character; he could easily replace Harrison Ford in the next Indiana Jones movie. The other way around? I don't think so. We stayed in the treehouse and cottage 3, which has a beach at the river, with a waterfall to climb in. Very private. We only went off the property to buy groceries -be sure to rent a car! Thanks a lot Frank and José!

Can't get better than this

This nature preserve was the most beautiful, we were able to sleep with the windows open every night and we we're able to hear the river from our cottage, the air was so clean and fresh, the cottages were cozy and clean and inviting, the pool, the views, the service, everything was amazing, we would definitely stay there again and again.
