Enjoyed our stay clean and quiet the only thing I would suggest would be signage showing how to find the restaurant as it shows the menu on a wall by the round building so you assume it’s through the doors right there but it’s not you walk right round the other side no biggy but we weren’t the only family looking and wondering Meal was awesome would stay there again

Last minute booking and what a find. Room had been recently refurbished and a fabulous view of Napier Harbour.  Tea/coffee making facilities and a fridge and microwave in room. Room was small but there was a small balcony to sit out on. Small guest laudry room to use free of charge. Good powerful shower.

Great location and easy to access great food venues. Excellent rate for an overnight business stay.I'll be back for sure when in Napier

Lovely place, super comfortable bed, nice bathroom. Nice views of the harbour, very convenient for some very nice restaurants and bars within easy walking distance. Staff super friendly and helpful. Excellent value for money.

Fabulous view

The room was nice but the bathroom needs a little spruce up as its looking a little tired. It was clean which was the main thing. The beds were very comfortable & the receptionist at check in was very nice & friendly. My card was charged for items we didn't use so I rang up and the lovely lady on the phone said they'll reverse which was she did.

Overall it was a nice stay

Our family stayed for one night and the room quality was exceptional. There is a high priority on the guest comfort by reminding others to keep quiet. The staff are friendly and very accommodating. We did not sample the restaurant as we were not that hungry but walking through we noticed it to be of decent quality. Beds were extremely comfortable and the views were excellent. Highly recommend this to anyone.

Absolute Gem

Stayed in a family unit with friends. The beds were very comfortable and the view over the marina from the top floor on a sunny morning was spectacular. Reception service was good, parking good. The only negative was two flashing energy saving bulbs that were annoying, and one bulb that was dead. We left them on the counter but they were not replaced whilst we were there. Lighting was therefore limited to the shaving mirror light in the bathroom at night.

Convention weekend

Had just one night here while in Napier for a family birthday party. Very friendly receptionist, room was spacious, very clean and with a stunning view. Awesome spa bath in room and we found the venue so close to everything. Quiet nights sleep and what we felt was a reasonable price ($161 incl GST) having only managed to book it a few days out from this Queens Birthday weekend! Would highly rec. Bluewater, we stayed in Room 21, awesome place!

Bluewater...Brilliant!

Everything was excellent, with the exception that I was told that my room was ready, when it was not - the maid had not finished but left the door wide open , leaving dirty flannels in the bathroom. This was clearly a genuine mistake, but should not have happened at all.Other than that, the room was excellent and I enjoyed my stay.Mistakes do happen and the staff were very apologetic - I would recommend this hotel.

The hotel was in a lovely spot and our room overlooked the water. Great location to bars, restaurants. Nice walk around harbour seeing what the local fishermen have landed. Bottle shop over the road for wine to enjoy on the deck. Best fish and chips in NZ just down the road. Enjoyed looking at all the lovely gift ideas in Port O Call... a 5 min walk away.

We stayed 3 nights in an apartment with two bedrooms. Nice view over the small harbour. The apartment was clean, well equipped and furnished. Friendly staff. Quiet rooms.Less good was the loundry facility, even if it is possible to wash your stuff.All in all, we would stay at Bluewater if we would visit this area again.

Nice place, good value,

Floor to ceiling windows (2 bed apartment) with a view of boats, people, bikes, dogs coming and going. Kept my Dad occupied for hours,  then had the birds to talk to on the balcony downstairs. Recommended and would stay again.
