Good Location but Standard Rooms are very to very small, no ventilation , Dark rooms, Dull wall color even dirty wall... Seepage on Wall , Good breakfast with only continental food. on our 3 days stay they even didn't change bed sheets. Even We can hear discussion or Tv Volume from other rooms easily.

Welcome and very generous portions even though the dish I had chosen (masala) for its name was rather bland.

The restaurant again.

The Unity Hotel is located in the centre of the city. The supermarket, bakery and restaurant are conveniently accessible on foot. The manager and the other employees welcomed us very kindly and were extremely helpful. Here the ticket for our river trip to Bhamo was booked and an impeccable scooter was provided to explore the area. The double rooms, some with glass showers, offer enough space and are cleaned pennilessly every day. The only drawback is that if you have a loud neighbor, you can possibly hear him.

Central hotel with delicious breakfast buffet

The hotel is at the center of the city, near Sacred Heart Catholic Cathedral (an ideal location for a Filipino Catholic traveller). Although the hotel is at the center of the city, one still needs a taxi or private transport to get to the main destinations in Mandalay... Upon arrival we were given complimentary drink (juice), and the reception staff was very accommodating and helpful in arranging for our transportation... The hotel has a restaurant. Breakfast is not the usual western sausages or eggs or pancakes; instead they serve viands that are somewhat vegetarian... The rooms for 2 persons are really small - hardly any space to walk around especially when you have big luggages with you. But the wifi is strong and television has few channels with English shows and movies... If one needs a place to stay/sleep in Mandalay, then this hotel gives you just that.

Good service, small rooms

Decent chicken curry, stir fry. variety of beer. Good but slow service; due to other patrons, I guess. We viewed room service orders going out. Had nobody who could mix the drinks on the menu. Limited beer choices

Ate at Unity Hotel Restaurant - quite nice decor and good service

Clean, centrally located hotel with a great price-performance ratio. Beautiful large room, large bathroom with a huge shower, everything very clean! Rich breakfast, the dining at the restaurant was also very tasty. Friendly very dedicated staff. Of course you can hear the noise from the street a little bit, the hotel is very centrally located in the center. At night it was very quiet, but it was very quiet.

Very good price-performance ratio

Good location. We had 3 rooms (for 2 families) and corner one was quite spacious, others also had small separated seating area. Bathrooms are nice and functional, but separated only with part frosted glass from the room (if that bothers anyone).
Internet speed is not lightning fast, but perfectly usable for normal stuff that you do on holidays :) Most of the staff speak English and are always kind and polite. 

One negative thing: Gentleman at the reception offered to arrange a day tour with van and driver/guide for our group of 8 people which we accepted. But early into our trip it turned out that driver didn't know a word of English. Fortunately we ran into monk that offered to be our guide for the whole day so that our trip wasn't ruined.
Next day we mentioned that issue at the reception, but they didn't really care.
So be careful and check the arrangement before ;-)

We had several lunches at this restaurant, which we particularly enjoyed, and I also visited the rooms, some of which were a bit cheaper than the others, but without windows or with a view of a wall two metres away.

We booked a Deluxe room on Agoda. The photos are a bit deceiving and the room was much smaller than expected (very likely they put us in a Superior room instead as they were quite full when we stayed). Otherwise the room was comfortable enough and breakfast/location was good.

OK visit

When I visit to Mandalay most of time I stay here since 1997 the hotel is totally different than before, yeah it's totally change , rom decoration is so beautiful , bathroom also very nice & breakfast is delicious that's Unity hotel is my favorite place in Mandalay!!
