We have a very pleasant memory of our short stay in this riad. The breakfast was prepared with love and was held in a pleasant atmosphere and a beautiful setting. The owner of the riad was very thoughtful, the riad was very clean and welcoming. We highly recommend it.

Riyadh is quiet near Medina

Excellent stay. Riad completely renovated. Hospitality staff and little care. Juicy meals. impeccable cleanliness. Real-life photos. I highly recommend for traveling as a couple or with friends.

Top Riad

The Riyadh is close to the parking lot and easy to access, the rooms are clean and comfortable, the breakfast is good and cozy, the kindness of the managers who only ask to please us.

We loved staying in this Riad. Hard to find but worthwhile looking for. 
Very friendly and professional service. Away from the crowd but at the gates of the Medina.

Excellent

We didn't stay, but we just went to the restaurant like so many other tourists are taken with the guides. The place is beautiful. The music is beautiful too. However, the food is not as good as the beauty of the place. The drums are sometimes played by the nice waiters themselves.

The restaurant

The Riad Dar al Batoul is located (somewhat hidden - but still easily accessible by car/taxi) ideally on the southern edge of the Medina of Fes. All the sights are within walking distance. The Riad itself is very well maintained and lovingly designed: you feel like you are arriving from a fairy tale from 1001 night - Orient pure! The rooms are also furnished with elegant style furniture. Only the bathroom is small, simple and low. Here, caution is advised with the head. The service is friendly and restrained. French language skills are helpful - as everywhere in Morocco. The delicious breakfast cake is served with fruitcake, fruit and vegetables, and is fully decorated in the courtyard.

Romantic Riad in the Medina of Fes

This Riad is situated close to the Souks but far enough to be surprisingly quiet and relaxing. The staff is nice, attentative and discreet. We had in fact the Riad just for us, there were no other guests. 

Breakfast was freshly made, the food's tasty. The interior is very attractive as you can see in the pictures attached, however it can get chilly in the house (March). The heating didn't help that much. 

Despite the fact of the tons of Riads around you can't go wrong with this particular one.

nice, clean and centrally located

We were at the sacrifice festival in Fes in this Riyadh. Although we had almost everything, the managing director (?) took care of an open restaurant for us and even on the holiday he himself telephoned everywhere to get us a guide through the old town - it worked within an hour! The Riyadh itself is very beautiful and stylish, the breakfast is great. We felt very comfortable. Since the Medina of Fes is very large, it is quite far from a few central places (such as Bab Boujloud) - mainly because you usually walk along the way.

Great Riad with great service

Very attractive inside. Our twin room was large and each bed was a good size. The room was on two floors with the bathroom upstairs. Good shower. All very clean. Nice staff. Wi fi available but did not work with all devices. 

Attractive, clean, friendly Riad

The riad is located near the old medina (5 minutes walk). The rooms are very large and nicely decorated with antique furniture. We had a room on the first floor with a very small bathroom with a lowered ceiling. We were ample able to stand straight (1.80m) in the bathroom so if you're taller you really have to watch your head. It was very quiet inside the riad eventhough there is a very busy street outside.
There is airco in the room but we did'nt need it during our stay. The room is clean, towels are changed every day.

Staff is very friendly and helpfull. They arranged an english speaking guide, a bit of a strange guy unfortunately.

The medina is fantastic.
