Hostel 6-15

I stayed at 6/15 for 5 nights in October. The hostel has a great location first and foremost. I was figuring out at some point where the name of the hostel is coming from. It is on the Calle 6 and Avenida 15. (From there, silly me) * literally 3 minutes walk to Quinta Avenida and 2 minutes to the 10th Avenue. * 5 minutes to Coco Bongo and Calle 12 (Party Street) - Most party places close at 1 am due to Covid on Calle 12, just you to be aware. * Beach: 7 minutes walk (Just down on the Calle 6) I was welcomed by a super-smile person from Argentina and the check-in was pretty straightforward. I stayed at a mixed dormitory with another 10 people but it was okay. We did have separate lockers but there were other travellers leaving their bags out of the lockers and nothing went missing. (as far as I am aware) I liked this hostel because: * Wonderful location * Grocery store just the other side of the street * Laundry just the other side of the street, opposite of the hostel * Tacos place is just right next to the laundry * Common areas are clean and well kept * They have different accommodation options and a roof terrace to hang out (No bar but watching the stars if you wish so) :) * Breakfast was okay although - not many choices. Same you get anywhere for the money so I was pretty okay with that ( Pineapple, watermelon, toast, butter jam, coffee) * Free water can be taken to fill up your bottles. * Ac in the room What 6/15 can do better * I wish they had curtains around all beds to have some privacy. :( I was sleeping in the bed above and sometimes hostels do not have curtains at all or they had one around the bed below, not the one above. * Please place some hooks in the shower so people can hang up their towels or toiletry bags while they having a shower. * Plugs. Although I had plugs next to my bed to charge my phone, I also had some USB cables which were pretty short so I should have charged them somewhere lower. I could not find any plugs around the common areas (near the floor for example) We managed to locate one in the kitchen by unplugging the microwave and toaster. * The internet is a bit weak as It kept on dropping me off online. Good to know: * They close the gate after 10 or 11 pm but there is always someone there to open the main gate for you. * No deposit was asked at check-in. * Towels also can be rented if you do not have one. * The staff is really friendly and helpful I am not really sure how to rate the service in this hostel because I did get what I paid for anyway. The main reason I booked this hostel was the location at the first place and that was just excellent. (Not that noisy and neither that quiet)
