Room got the job done. Was small but big enough to sleep. Great staff and service.

Good location - pretty close to the station. Excellent service - friendly staffs.

It's very close to station. There was a nice selection for breakfast.

Hotel Crown Hills Yamagata is conveniently located near the train station and an easy walk to the downtown area. Not only were the staff polite and helpful, our room was comfortable and quiet. The amenities we expected  were there, with the option to get additional items we needed, and extras we didn't expect, including a robe and slippers. This hotel also included a washing machine and dryer available for its guests for a reasonable cost. We would stay here again!

I really enjoyed staying at this hotel.  Note: the reception desk is on the 3rd floor.

The building is close to the train station.  The staff was polite and helpful. The buffet vegetables were fresh and everything tasted great!

It was nice big room, comfortable bed and good service

The hotel is not far from the station. There is an elevator and the room was quite nice with a wonderful view over the city. We paid about 36€ a night which was a good price for what we got. The bathroom was small as in most hotels in this category but everything was clean and well maintained. Extra free toiletries can be picked up at the reception, who was always friendly and helpful. 

The room could be a bit bigger as with two bags / suitcases you have to move some furniture for storage ;-) 
The English skills of some receptionists could be improved. 
In general we had a pleasant stay at the hotel and would recommend it.

Hotel a bit old, room good size , Food not bad for breakfast, Still use a transitional room key for entry room. Location handy, I like their storage service , it really helpful they allow me storage rwo days without extra charge. Make me easier to go to another two Onsens I don't have to worries my heavy bags .

GOOD VALUE FOR MONEY. CLOSE TO THE STATION.

The best service Good location

This hotel was a nice surprise. The room was large by Japanese standards and the bed was super comfortable. We enjoyed our stay here!

Some negatives: our toilet seat was broken. The hotel lobby is on the 3rd floor and while it is a central location, it seemed to be in the clubbing/bar area of the city. 

Don't let that put you off though as the hotel itself is nicer than it looks on the outside!

Large room & comfortable bed

I stayed here one night when I could not get a three-night booking at another hotel. The front desk staff were friendly, the room comfortable, and the shower worked. I missed breakfast and so cannot comment on that. Check in and check out were all hassle-free. Other film festival attendees seemed to be guests, too.

The location is very central but I was worried at first because the floors below the hotel are all restaurants and bars. I did not hear noise, but nervous travelers fearful of being annoyed by drunks might want to try another hotel first. Personally, I'd stay again.
