The place is very simpel on the side of the road from Bondowoso to Tamanan ..take the small blue angkot ( bus - car ) ..rp 6.000,- only or a half dollar . The owner is one of the best guides around for trekkings ..and when he has no time he will help you to find one of his friends guides ..nice people ..open minded ..want to make there village a bit more famous , Kalianyar , Tamanan . You can rent a bike or walk around the village , lokale market , country roads with rice fields and many other crops : sugar , tabaco , chili , coffee , cacao , choclate ,.... they have a older history than the Borobudur around 2000 bc .. but still litlle is know about ..
