We had my 70 th birthday meal here on 21 st July and what an amazing night
My Manx relatives ,my family ,husband and many friends were there 

The staff were truly fantastic , we were able to all have A La Carte and everything was perfect 

The cake they made was truly fantastic

We very much enjoyed our stay at the hotel, in fact the best we'd stayed in, excellent food, spotlessly clean and very convenient location for touring the Isle of Man and only a 10 minute drive away from the airport.  Everywhere also accessible by bus. Very relaxing place to stay opposite the beautiful Gansey Bay. 
All the staff were lovely, very friendly and so helpful, going that extra mile.  
We would love to stay again soon and highly recommend the Shore Hotel.

The Shore Hotel has been a 'go to' destination for Manx lovers of good food for many years but it has stretched its boundaries in the past year or two.
On a small island surrounded by the Irish Sea the fish on your plate was feeding on the seabed yesterday. Yoy will not get better cod than this.
The service is professionally quiet and the view of the sunset over Gansey Bay is a 'bucket list' picture.

Room was very spacious and well furnished. Bed was exceptionally comfortable.   Bar was very welcoming and the food was very good with a wide choice.  The staff and service were exceptionally good and made the Shore Hotel,a fantastic place to stay.  The bus stop right outside made travelling round the island easy.

We had an awesome welcome from Jack on our first day at the Shore Hotel. Very friendly and made us feel very welcome. We ate in on our the first night to see what the grub was like. We felt we had hit the jackpot as the food was amazing, we actually ended up eating 3 nights out of 7 at the shore because it was so good! We stayed in room 3; which even had a terrace looking out onto the bay, this was used loads especially at night when we watched the sunset. The room was very comfortable and both my husband and I slept SO well every night, and that is unusual for us when we are away from home. A massive thank you to Jack, Julie, Netty, Debs, Lily and the whole team for making our week away fantastic! We rarely say this but The Shore Hotel was so good we will definitely be going back for round 2! If I could have scored the Shore Hotel 6 then I would have!

Fabulous place, met friends here for lunch in Sunday. Lovely food, great atmosphere, friendly and helpful staff. Also came for a drink with friends on Monday too.
Would definitely recommend. Views of the bay are great.

I booked 2 double rooms at The Shore having been reccomend by a friend who lives locally in Port Erin. It is a great location with excellent sea views. 
The rooms were superb with huge comfortable beds and great amenities. 
The pub is constantly busy with regulars, islanders and visitors so if you want to eat you need to book a table in the restaurant or get there early. 
My family and I stayed 4 nights and enjoyed the whole experience. 
The staff were attentive and friendly, the restaurant food was generous and not pretentious and reasonably priced. 
I spoke to my extended family who live on the island and all have had good meals here. I was so pleased to find this little gem of a hotel.  Thanks.

An excellent hotel. All the staff were first class and were always there to help. 
One day we were doing an extensive coastal walk and Charlotte even offered to pick us up at the end of the walk. This is service way beyond expectation. 
The food is also excellent.

Living here we know all the pubs and this is probably our favourite one on the island. 
We stayed in the Junior Suite Saturday and Sunday night  (two night minimum stay). It has its own balcony/terrace with outside table/chairs, overlooking the beautiful sandy bay. It's well furnished with a large double bed, separate sofa area, lovely decor and modern ensuite bathroom. Though it was December we still enjoyed a walk along the beach into nearby Port St Mary (20 minutes). 
This is a thriving, friendly pub which serves excellent food. There is a separate restaurant room which is a lovely place to eat but you can order food in the bar too. I love the bar area, at one end there are two large, comfy, leather sofas. There are window seats and tables, tall old wooden tables and stools, beamed ceiling, quirky fixtures and fittings (see photos). 
The staff are friendly and a few friends of ours live near and have this pub as their local. It makes us want to move to this part of the island so we could pop in here every week! 
Finally, the Gents toilets are reason enough to visit - Excellent! I'm not telling you why, you'll have to visit here to see!

I stayed here on 24th January 2024. The place has a good feel as soon as you walk in with tasteful decoration and a welcoming ambience. The staff are extremely friendly and the breakfast was perfect. The room as nicely furnished and came complete with a wood burner which created a homely feel. Would recommend.

Nice Ambience

Lovely room, very clean & spacious - think we preferred the sofa towards the fireplace meaning the armchair could look out at the sea view which you're paying for. Breakfasts were very good and evening was mainly good just prefer my veg cooked not hard! ;) the grilled prawn starter could do with dressing of some sort as was dry and rather tasteless along with the unseasoned salad. The en suite shower with the fibre optic lights was cute but could seriously do with some repair work on the floor as there are parts of the mosaic pebble tiles missing which leaves the floor surface dangerously sharp for bare feet :(  and the loo by the long window is unique to say the least! Especially when someone is coming down the staircase above looking into your reflective window! Really think a window blind should be available to ensure modesty! The bed is huge but has seen a lot more wear on the side closest into the room so you feel you are falling out of bed! Our main dock of one star is for us the proximity to the road & it being the main thoroughfare for traffic meant two disturbed nights & early road noise so no chance of a lie in :( The room is above the restaurant so some noise can be heard but no later than 11pm.  Would have loved the opportunity to give feedback on checkout but we weren't asked sadly :"(  so value for money was mostly felt just some tlc and it would be better but the road for us was a no no for returning sadly.

Nestled alongside the shore and within ear shot of Port St Mary sits the Shore Hotel. Although early evening, tables were filling with staff bringing hearty fayre to its waiting patrons. Our table ‘pour trios’ was nestled under a window with spectacularly wild and rugged views of the scenic vista. A specials board was adorned with a veritable array of succulent delights and the choice was made with the seafood pasta, monkfish curry and a warming risotto. All were cooked to perfection and were all well received. A warming Malbec with a light note accompanied by Mr G&T and a loveable rogue with a guest appearance Mr Tequila were welcome visitors. All in all a perfect spot for an after work supper and convivial chat.
