Immediately upon arriving, we were told there was no reservation under our name. After showing our printed reservation paid in full, the front desk staff appeared confused and had another employee come over. After 5-10 minutes of confusion, the hotel claimed they had overbooked themselves (despite the hotel appearing empty, with all of the rooms we could see having the door open). We were then told we would be brought to a different hotel. The hotel we were taken to was clearly lower in quality than what we had paid for in our original room. After travelling for nearly 20 hours to get to the island, we went into our new room at the other hotel. The hotel we were at was under construction (which caused us to be woken up as early as 6AM every single day to the sound of drills), as well as partying directly outside of our room in a small courtyard, so some nights it was 2:30AM+ before the noise stopped. The room was very small, with an uncomfortable bed and nearly no room for luggage. The wifi was extremely low quality; we often had no ability to use our phones inside of the room. Overall, this was a very poor experience.

Extremely poor experience

Very friendly staff in the beginning of our 3 night stay, the manager was especially kind; we asked to move rooms because of the awful noise though the night outside and inside the hotel. The following 2 nights were better although I would not recommend a room near the street we were both woken many times by people partying in the streets, 0 noise protection from the windows, traffic, people talking in the hotel, children running up and down the corridors of the hotel at 9.30pm screaming, one wonders at why parents think this is ok in public hotel where people may be trying to sleep?  The breakfast was very limited and basic, and the coffee is not worth drinking.  The second morning we tried to get breakfast and it was very strange the staff were not helpful the tables were not cleared and we had to keep asking for things and felt like we had done something wrong. When we asked for black pepper we were told there wasn't any.  The staff mostly were kind and helpful I guess it was ok for the price that was paid.  Excellent a/c and very comfortable beds.

Great place to stay and really affordable. The staff were helpful and did our washing for us for very cheap and theres free drinking water at reception. The rooms were nice and beds were comfy, the little outdoor patio was nice. The rooms were cleaned most days which was great and the bathroom was big, tidy and had good shower pressure. The only downside to this place is how loud the street is, all day everyday. I would maybe request a room off the road if you arent a deep sleeper. Besides that, it was great value for money!

Good Location

Very comvenient location close to all restaurants, bars, the Charles Darwin Research Centre, Giant Tortoise  Breeding Centre etc. Helpful and friendly staff. Even cleaned my room on Christmas Day.

A super comfortable hostel for sleeping and spending the days we spent.The attention was excellent.The breakfast was MUCH GOOD.Certainly if you go to the Galapagos I would recommend it!This hostel is on the island of Baltra.

Very good attention and very comfortable.

My husband and I booked a room with them directly months before our arrival on the island, we usually do this to avoid the costs of an intermediary agency, unfortunately I can't recommend this option in this hostel, because the day we arrived at the hostel the owner or in-charge informed us that there was no room available, I was very angry because I showed him the confirmation from the hostel as we had confirmed my payment and the family reservation of our room.

Nothing is recommended.

It is OK for a backpacker, not so much for a professional. It's very close to everything, which is good when you like to walk, but it was bad to hear people screaming and partying at night, when you only want to sleep. Curtains in the bedroom and bathroom are in bad condition.

Good if you are younger than 30

It's the best accommodation I've ever been to in Ecuador, and specifically in the Galapagos, the woman who runs it: Joana, super kind and willing to help with everything, the price is great! The rooms are great and beautiful, with air conditioning and ventilator if you don't want to abuse the air as much as I do, many with refrigerator and balcony, plus everything is very well decorated and in the bathroom has biodegradable soap and shampoo, the hostel follows a great policy of recycling and sustainable operation.

Perfect and comfortable.

Thank you very much for the service, the location of the hostel is unbeatable; it is a block from the street of the kiosks and a foot of the pier about 5 minutes, the breakfasts are very good but they are paid separately. I thank the receptionist Eli who attended us very well, gave us directions on everything we asked him, even one day he prepared a typical island breakfast with a bowl of fried banana and an exquisite egg.
