We booked this hotel as a hub for the further journey to Tortuguero. And for that, the facility met all the requirements well. The room was clean and well equipped. The car can be parked right in front of the door. There are good restaurants on foot. And that there was no breakfast, it didn't matter, because we wanted to take the first transfer to Tortuguero at 6:00 anyway, so we had to check out at 4:45. I would also like to emphasize the kindness of the staff. Price/performance are definitely okay.

Simple, useful and clean

We were here for a night on the way to the national park! Rooms are convenient, clean and important good mattresses! Unfortunately no breakfast! The lady at the reception was super friendly!! Parking right in front of the room, just a few minutes to the city.

A simple but clean hotel

Hotel de paso: Solo para dormir. there is no restaurant area nearby so that you can easily access the tortuguero recommend the Juan Carlos guide for tours in the tortuguero Recommended to go to sleep and leave early in the morning.

Hotel de passage, right!!

A simple, quiet and well-located hotel, a 10-minute walk from the bus terminal that takes you to Tortuguero, a nice little place, no breakfast but you will find restaurants nearby, clean and well-maintained outdoor accommodation, very nice staff and will gladly inform you about bus schedules.

Simple and effective

The lady who visited us at the reception (I think her name was Karen) was very kind and helped us organize our route and recommended several places for dinner.We had reserved a budget accommodation, which was clean, good for a night out.The hotel premises are phenomenal and you can leave your car safe and secure.

Good for one night.

We arrived at the hotel at night and the treatment was perfect, we were met by a very kind lady who helped us with everything we needed, even helped us to bring dinner to the room. The room for one night is more or less fine but not for more nights. It is very old and the mattresses and pillows are very uncomfortable. The room is clean and the bathroom is also. It has hot water.

Passing hotel 

every little detail counts and when we went to Cariari on our way to Tortuguero this place was our first option, 
it has a parking area for each vehicle, it´s very quiet, Wi-Fi access everywhere, clean and there is food service from other businesses, 
the place is wide, green and you feel welcome,
at the reception they all are very friendly and helpful always,
the owner doña Karen, she´s a very hardworking and friendly woman with whom you can talk hours and hours of almost everything,
i enjoyed every second,
and the staff, specially el Gordito that i can´t remember his name, sorry, they have all the information you need, 

They also organize tours to Tortuguero or at least give you the info you need, 
I recommend staying at least one night, I'm sure you're going back for another night.

friendly and helpful

The lady is very kind and offers explanations on everything interesting to see, a great location to reach the park in high weather, nearby shops, supermarkets and restaurants.

Holidays

Keep away. These people are not honest. They intentionally charged us twice for the same room, claiming that no payment had been made through Expedia. I had to fix the charges through my credit card company. This was a nightmare. Find another place.

Cathy at the reception area was FANTASTIC!! Great deatails( in broken English).. WONDERFUL dinner suggestion. It's not the ritz but it certainly serves its purpose
