Our service was absolutely dismal. Upon our arrival, we were greeted by a hotel representative that was inebriated, as the town was celebrating Halloween. 
We presented copies of our Colombia issued IDs, and foreign passport for a family friend (with a copy of the immigration check that Colombia requires prior to entry). The representative refused to accept the copies of our friend’s foreign passport. Upon his refusal to accept the documents, we asked to cancel our reservation and a refund. He denied.

We brought in the police for assistance, one of the agents was the town’s authority on immigration and tourism policies. The police officer confirmed that our friend’s documentation was valid and demanded that we be provided with out room. However, the representative constantly challenged his authority. 

We explained to the police that we no longer wanted to stay in this hotel as we no longer felt safe, and we wanted our money returned. The police insisted that he give us a refund, but he continued to refuse. At this time, a lieutenant detected alcohol smells emanating from the representative and proceeded to question him, where he admitted to having drank several alcoholic drinks. He also failed to provide his Colombian identification upon request from the police, as he did nit have it with him. 

The police officers continued to ask for a refund, and it was not until the owner was going to be called, that he provided us with the money. 

The police officers assisted us in finding a new place to stay - Hotel Valdivia. We highly recommend everyone to stay at Hotel Valdivia, it has beautiful accommodations and the service was wonderful.

Terrible Service

The main thing you should know about this hotel is that it is EXTREMELY RUDY. It is located in one of the corner of the park where the main bars and clubs of the village are located. We try to sleep with noise-cancelling hearing aids but it makes no difference. You can sleep from 2pm when the shops close. The administration offers no solutions or excuses. The pillows are hard and high and the shower is small and the water is low pressure. The hotel was clean, the breakfast was good and the staff were treated well.

It's very small.

It has too much noise at night because it's on top of the bars, and the service is terrible and the doorman made fun of me when I arrived, telling me that I was going to the noise room.

Noisy and poorly attended.

Beautiful big rooms with high ceilings, The bathroom is a bit of a letdown, set inside the room, You are right at the main town square, and on weekends the music and partying goes on well into the night. You can watch it from your balcony if you have a room out front.

Noisy but charming

The hotel has the basic amenities, the rooms are very seated and the food is very good but in holiday bridges they abuse the rates.In the rooms with balcony to the park you hear a lot of noise at night.The advantage is that their location is very central.

Comfortable and simple.

The facilities are very comfortable, comfortable and comfortable, but you'll like them. recomeindo rooms inside if you want to enjoy the hustle and bustle of the garden, if you take the rooms with a view to the park you'll never rest because there's always a noise of nightclubs, people and horses. the food is very homemade, little varied. the hotel is not large and there's no swimming pool, but you'll feel a very cozy village atmosphere that you want to stay a day at this hotel.

We stayed at this hotel for 3 nights, and I have to say it was just perfect. The rooms with balconys have a great view of the plaza. The rooms are basic, but clean and comfortable, and the price is very reasonable (COP 130,000 for the entire stay).

Nice clean Hotel

There is no fridge and phone in the rooms, no toiletries in the bathrooms, the cameras are a bit impertinent, to be a hotel in the main park, it must have good signage and convenience with a car park to store cars.

I went to the Garden for a weekend and no reservation since before..... when I get to the village the only hotel that had rooms was East, Why would it be the only one with rooms available?, Exactly for the price, this is one of the most expensive hotels in the village and not the nicest, really it is very simple, they charge you about $90,000 per night and per person, including dinner and breakfast. The food is very good and typical of restaurant Antioqueño, the rooms are very normal, a double bed, bathroom with hot water and a Televisor. If you plan to take excursions or get to know a little more about the village, it's better that you plan in advance, then you don't have to enlighten the hotel about this information.

Very normal...... Very expensive.......

The cost-benefit ratio is the best, which includes dinner and breakfast, with rooms that have the precise amenities: TV and bed.
