The staff is absolutely helpful, and caring, but even for a chic hostel, it is a bit rundown. Small details here and there, shows that it is in dire need of care.

The breakefast its really good and the staff are so freandly

Ok, this is my second time at this particular Selina. i like the concept and idea behind their hotels, even if it does come across as a little privileged and out of touch with local reality. The staff are super nice and in general the place is consistent when you go to one or the other locations in whatever country you are in.

Some things i would take into consideration though when you stay at these places. This one has seen a lot of use. I can tell after a few years that they could really stand to give it a fresh coat of paint in the rooms. The rooms have definitely been lived in. They are not terrible, but they are not the best either.

Also, when you upgrade your room, like to a Suite, you are only paying for the extra space and the amenities that come with it are kind of useless, especially the coffee maker.

They don't provide you with coffee for the machine. So, why bother with the upgrade? I mean if I still must go buy the coffee anyway, then I might as well go downstairs to the restaurant and get a proper americano.

The suite rooms are large though, and that, again, is what you are paying for.

The food and breakfast? Yummy. Really no complaints there.

This location, in Bogota, is a pretty choice if you ask me. You are in the heart of Parque 93 which a pretty cool neighborhood. There are plenty of things to do and see within walking distance.

Overall? Good, not bad, not exceptional.

This place was a very good area close to an abundance of restaurants and shops. The front desk staff was excellent, they searched and booked a group tour for Bogotá the night before and arranged for a large taxi van to pick us up and take us to the airport. I would highly recommend this Hotel!

The location is great and the design of the building cool. 

The rooms are also nicely designed. We stayed in a small double with shared bathroom. The room was as expected but very dark even with the light on. The bathroom was shared between 4 rooms. 

The Wi-Fi was good too and staff friendly. 

Beware though on weekends even on 4th floor you will struggle to sleep with music blaring until at least 0300

Good, but very loud on weekends

Stayed at Selina Bogota Parque 93 for a couple of nights and wouldn´t recomend it. Rooms have a thermostat but the AC doesn´t work; my only option was to sleep with the window open, but the room faced a busy road which made it difficult to sleep with the noise. 

The rooms are not very clean either, found a ball of hair next to my bed. 

Breakfast is ok.

Overrated

Awesome! But if you’re not into partying the excessive sound of the rooftop party can be very annoying.

Came to this Selina expecting the same level of comfort and service as is provided at the other locations. 

The single room had no fan or AC and the window faced the hallway (security issues).

For the $30 price tag I would have stayed in a hotel. 

The location is decent but I recommend staying at Selina on 93

Less than expected from a Selina

Overrated and overpriced for the quality, standards, cleanliness, and customer service. We booked this accommodation out of curiosity given that it's description implies that it caters to all types of travelers with certain traveling lifestyles. We're a couple and booked a private room; obviously wanting "privacy".  Selina no matter how hard they try will always cater to younger travelers wanting to mingle and party. This is not our cup of tea. Our private room is overpriced for its quality. Our bathroom towels had holes. There was no bathroom mat, a bathroom towel was folded and placed on the floor. This is unhygienic and unacceptable. Outside noise can be heard in the room, including Selina's restaurant music that went out till the evening. No we don't want to party, we want to sleep. We barely had a good rest though we were situated on the higher floor; 5th floor. Would only recommend this to young travelers in groups. For couples wanting privacy and a proper hotel room, this is not recommended. Also did not appreciate guests wearing pajamas in the restaurant area. Might look cool to others but not for other travelers. Selina is trying to house different travelers in one house, this won't work at all.
