Unit was quite nice. We had the 4th floor so wasn't too bothered that the sliding patio door was broken and wouldn't lock. Train nearby but couldn't hear it too much from the Armstrong building. Carpeting in the hallway to units needs replacing. Pretty obvious there are a lot of dog pee stains! Unit equipped with only double beds. Not adequate for two adults really. Check in time is 3pm, but checkout is 10am! Even hotels are 11am checkout. Our 3rd time here, but now with an early checkout, which we weren't informed until the night before via email, we won't be back. 

Expect an early checkout!

We recently spent a week at this complex and had a decent time.  Access to the lake and public beach is great, water toy rentals are close, and even decent restaurants are nearby.  The complex has a good pool and hot tub facility and there is adequate parking available for visitors.  That said, choose your unit CAREFULLY!  The main road into Invermere borders the north end of the complex, and a freight train track borders the west side.  Both are busy and NOISY.  If you want to sleep at night, don't book a unit facing onto either of those corridors.

The unit we booked was well laid out and everything worked fine.  The one issue we had was that there was only about 5 working cable channels.  Not great when the weather isn't cooperating.  Had we known we would have brought some movies to watch.  Otherwise, no complaints.  The beds were also very soft and we are used to a firm mattress.  My wife and I ended up sleeping on the pullout couch.

Great location, but choose your unit carefully

We stayed in an Airbnb condo here, and it was incredible! The buildings are beautiful and the condo we stayed in was so clean! The outdoor pool and hot tubs are amazing. It also has a gym and an activity room. Lots of parking, either in the stalls that you are assigned or you can park in any of the visitor spots. 2 minute walk to the lake, with a playground for the kiddos. A&W is just in the next parking lot, and Subway,DQ and a delicious sushi place are right across the street! You can drive to downtown Invermere in about 2 minutes- but you are also close enough to walk if you wanted to! I would come back to this condo with my family again!

Absolutely beautiful!

We have stayed in 4 different rooms and not been disappointed! Clean, spacious walking distance to the beach and 15 min walk into town . Highly recommend this condo. Fill fitness room with free weights and cardio machines . Lovely outdoor pool with lots of lounge chairs and soooo clean! Some rooms accept pets as well . Elevator and stairs kayaking and paddle boarding rentals close by 

Fantastic condos

Lake Windermere at Invermere is a very beautiful picnic spot..serene and calm..we enjoyed our lunch- patties and pastries with ice tea from the local cafe on a quiet Tuesday afternoon..followed by laying around in the bright Sun.. my little kiddo had great fun throwing pebbles in the clear water and laughed at every single ripple it created in the water..we spent a lot of time on the swings..however, we skipped the water park nearby though it looked tempting..it was indeed a lovely day spent very well..😊

We love staying here as it’s very close to the beach as well as there is a private pool, hot tubs and rec centre.  It’s literally a two min walk to James Chabot provincial park! The suite we rented was a two bedroom open concept with two bedrooms and two bathrooms. Plenty of room for our family! It’s also very close to shopping and restaurants 👍 
Would definitely recommend for families wanting to get out of town for either a weekend or longer! It’s less than a 3 hour drive from Calgary! A hidden gem in the beautiful mountains!

Great place for families wanting to get away!

On the plus side the accommodation is situated next to lake windermere and the mountains so glorious scenery guaranteed. Invermere is a friendly town with lots of shopping available.My main disappointment was the failure of communications between myself and the property owner to ensure accommodation was available on our arrival. The instructions on the booking confirmation was to contact the owner 24hrs before arrival however on doing so I was only able to contact an answering machine. On arrival we could of been left in the street if it was not for the intervention of the janitor and a relative to gain entry to the accommodation - this is not an experience you want after 17 hours of travelling.

Accommodation

Booked 2 bedroom condo with lake view.  Credit card charged more then website said.  Didn't get anything to verify the amount that was charged. I thought I would deal with the company upon our arrival but there was no one to greet us or get keys. Management company is very hard to get a hold of.  When we finally did we were given our room number and the code to get in.  An hour away from our arrival get a call to tell us that we need to move to another suite.  The suite we were moved to had a parking lot view (not what I paid for).  I asked why we were not getting the suite that we booked and she said she still had someone in it.  She also told me she would discount our bill since we were put in a unit that would cost less.  I asked if we could move the next day to it and she said yes and that they would help us since it was their mistake.  The next day I tried calling and texting number that called/texted me. I was never responded to again.  Since then I have texted them a few times to get our discount and our security deposit back.  Again no answer and no refund.  One month later and still no refund.

Terrible Management Company

There is nowhere to check in, quite confusing and there were extra fees that were $160 above and beyond what we were quoted from hotels.com. Nice place but not worth the hassles

I rented a 3 bedroom condo in this property for a Christmas family gathering. It was months before I got an email from the property management but did have security about the booking by booking with Expedia. We were driving from different areas, with most of us driving through snowstorms and no cell service areas there. I called 4 hours prior to check in time to get check in information, as there is no front desk. It was difficult to get someone to answer the phone and though they were polite, were very disorganised. It wasn't until over 6 hours after my original phone call that we got proper door codes to get in! Everyone was freezing waiting at the front door and then back and forth to vehicles for HOURS while the ONE disorganized staff member took long periods to get a hold of after giving wrong code after wrong code. Very stressful. Once we were finally in with a temporary code the property was lovely.
