Really enjoyed an excellent stay at the Blue River Motel. The room was small, but very pleasant and clean and extremely fully featured - basically a complete kitchen, with stove, fridge, sink, etc. Everyone we interacted with was extremely friendly and helpful. Couldn't have asked for a better stay or a better value, and would absolutely stay here again.

Excellent value - clean and comfortable and convenient

Super well equipped suite, separate room with very large bed very comfortable and everything you need for cooking. Enough dining table. Very good quality price ratio. Very quiet. Very nice small park in the village.

Super small motel, spacious, comfortable and very clean rooms

We planned on stopping here .. with a reservation, in September. Unfortunately we were hit by bad weather early in the season.... SNOW! And decided to head home. We called to cancel our reservation a full 36 hours in advance of our reservation... were told it was ok.... then .. they charged us FULL RATE on our credit card. Not good business ... we will not consider going there again  and end outrage others to be very careful before booking there.

We stayed one night at the Blue River Motel on our way to Alberta.  It is a couple of blocks off the highway so there is no traffic noise. Jean at reception was friendly and helpful.  We got a ground floor suite for an amazing low price.  The rooms are clean and have everything you need.  Our suite has dishes for 4 as well as pots and pans in the kitchen. The suite was small and the furnishings are older but we were very happy there and will return.

Clean, quiet, friendly

It has everything you need. It's off the highway in a residential area so it is quiet.  There is a full kitchen, small TV, wifi.  Jean at reception is very nice. Everything seems very clean.  Not fancy but a great value. A good place for us to stop overnight.

I picked this hotel based on recommendations here on Trip advisor and was completely satisfied.  The two people who greeted us were friendly and helpful.  The room was spotless and the bed comfortable.  Overall a great start to one of my greatest vacations.  I hope to make this place an annual stop over but for more time to explore the region.

Start of my BC/Alberta vacation

The best!!! The rooms are small apartments equipped with everything from the ovens to the refrigerator. Spacious, very clean and spacious rooms. Large bathroom, comfortable bed, parquet on the floor, everything is beautiful! Nice staff and ready to provide all kinds of information. In the middle of nature, in peace, practically bears and deer in the garden!!! You can't go anywhere else, choose it!

A week to go.

In our search for a stopover on the Kamloops to Jasper route, we came to the Blue River area. We had no expectations about accommodation, it was supposed to be for one night only. We were very pleasantly surprised by the Blue River Motel. The architecture is typical of North American motels. So you can drive by car to your own door. The rooms are huge and clean. So we had a separate bedroom, a living room with a fully equipped kitchen and, of course, a living room. The motel is located in a bathroom area, with the houses located far apart. It is not very large, but has a nice dining area. For dinner we can recommend the Lake Saddle Mountain restaurant and delicious cuisine.

Positively surprised

We stayed here for a night and were greeted by two very kind gentlemen. We had the standard one-bedroom on the ground floor. Small but very well furnished. I saw that there are larger apartments, but we only had to sleep there for one night and it was more than comfortable. Bed and pillows comfy! Parking in front of the room.

The rooms have a kitchen, and a sort of TV lounge with dining room, and in a separate area are the beds, which is comfortable and spacious, but they do not offer breakfast service or have a dining room.
