Apartments Vratnik

Apartments Vratnik are located on the oldest part of Sarajewo - Vratnik districkt. There is a beautiful view on the centre Sarajewo. I was there 1 week in August 2017 and it was for me amazing experience, beacuase I lived there among real residents and I saw normal, true life inhabitant, not only for tourist. Localisation of AV is perfect: there are some supermarkets, baker's, shop with fruit and vegetables and others.  apartment is very comfortable, there is a big, good bed for two persons witch kitchen and comfortable bathroom. I hope I'll back here in next year beacause Im falling in love in Sarajewo :)

In June we went for a weekend Trip to Sarajevo and we have bookend this Apartments Vratnik for 2 nights. It was much more better than we expected. Very nice and helpful reception and the location was at the end just perfect for us. We would definitely recommend it to others who are coming to stay in Sarajevo. Thank you very much for making part of this unforgettable experience!

The location is amazing - right at the top of the city center. The host Senada was awfully kind to us, we sat down the next morning for a coffee with her and she explained and showed us where we should go, borrowed us a map and she really knew what to recommend us - we were thrilled. When you book a reservation there, don't be shy to ask for recommendations about the best Burek, best Čevapi and other local foods, because she is a wonder woman, who knows how this thing should be served. Not to mention, she gave us free tickets to the Sarajevo Film Festival - for the last day - and we've enjoyed the experience to the maximum.
The only downside is being allergic to cats - my sister is allergic for example, but she had no special reactions to the cats walking around - she even cuddled with the little Bezobrazni (which is probably quite big now, considering we've been in Sarajevo 3 months ago). The house is clean, you're well taken care of, hospitality is A+, you can sense the local and indigenous vibe from Vratnik and you're in walking distance of almost every attraction!

This family run place is a bit out of centar (1 km) at the hill. Owners are extremly friendly and helpful. Clean and traditional house. They have large and useful garden. Attached kitchen with room. Recommended.

Although I haven't had experience with other accomodations in Sarajevo, I can guarantee this is probably the cosiest accomodation we could have ever found. The family who hosted us was extremely pleasant. They even made us coffee and tea upon our arrival. The room was very nicely decorated, with a kitchen and a shared bathroom (which was clean and had warm water at all times). The guests are not allowed to smoke in the room but are more than welcome to sit at a table in the garden to smoke/have coffee and so on. The apartments are approximately 1 kilometer away from the city center and the price is really good for the value of the accomodation. If and when I go back to Sarajevo, I'll definitely book this place again.
