According to acceptable standards, you can't even call this a hotel.
I travel quite a bit and have seen some bad hotels, but this place is a dump.
The story ends for me with hygiene, at least, everything has to be clean.
The room I stayed in wasn't, a lot of dust, also under the bed, remnants of soap in the shower and insects.
The coffee machine had an old, used paper filter in it, maybe from the last guests and was covered with mold.
Furthermore, the furniture was extremely outdated and in bad condition, probably second hand left overs.
The sanitairy facilities were from the seventies. The light above the mirror was broken, so shaving was not possible. 
The room was very small, with barely any space to move around or to place your suitcase.
The mattresses were way too soft and uncomfortable. 
Breakfast was brought down to an absolute minimum. Edible. Period.
The reason for booking this was the short distance to my work, seven car minutes and the fact that it was the last room in the last hotel in Lommel at that time.
Booked it for three nights, needless to say that I didn't want to stay any minute longer, so I left the next day and booked a hotel thirty car minutes away.



Do not go here. Not even for one night.

We arrived late afternoon, but  within the time slot confirmed.  There was nobody to greet us.  After a troublesome communication link via a 3rd party, we managed to learn that keys have been left in a secret spot.  The room was a back room, exceptionally small, with an even smaller bathroom facility.  Although the bedding was clean, the room and bath facilities were not.  The next day we needed to leave early.  Management knew of this but at 07:00 nobody had arrived to collect the key.  We replaced it in the secret place and left.  We only used this as a stop over...even so.  not recommended at all!!!!

Definitely a no-no

On arrival the place was closed! Ring and they told us the key was in a envelope in their postbox.. and our room number. Not very professional nobody there until 10am next day room tiny. Paint coming off walls toilet kept breaking. Door doesn't close, restraunt open and closes when it feels and the staff don't speak any English. Avoid at all costs. Booked another hotel and left the day after

Do not book this hotel

The only positive point is the sympathy of the hotel owners. Otherwise the hotel is very poorly isolated, close to a highway and because it's hot to the core in the rooms forced to open the window to sleep not to mention the chicken that wakes up at 6am. The basement room gets bad wifi, you can barely open the bathroom door in its entirety, the shower curtain is broken, there's a large diffuser that's supposed to deodorise but rather leaves a smelly smell in the room, no way to ventilate properly without opening the bedroom door in the room, the worst in the summer is the nasty smell that comes out of the lavabo in the morning, otherwise the dirtiest floor is that the household passage is not in fact worth all of it...

Not too bad.

Ok hotel with nice friendly staff. If you have a room on the left side seenfrom the front you will mayby be waked up of the neighbours rooster. It start around 5 in the morning, and it felt like it never stoped. Verry good breakfast.

Noisy rooster

We stayed here for yet another taekwondo competition.  It was just for the one night.

Checkin was at the "restaurant" which is more like a fritur (chip shop).  It was simple and efficient.

The restaurant actually closes at 7 so even if chip shop type food is what you're looking for you can't get any after that time and have to find somewhere else to eat but there are plenty of places not too far away.  The guy at reception recommended a lovely pizza/pasta place (Twins I think it was) which served great good in big portions!

Also there's no communal or bar area so basically nothing to do at the hotel once you've checked in :(  Just somewhere to have a beer would have been nice.

The rooms were clean and the beds comfortable.  Bathroom clean.  TV with poor signal but that didn't bother us.  There was some noise from the bedrooms above which would have been an issue had the occupants not settled down at a similar time to us.

The FREE Wifi worked well.

Right across the road is an ALDI supermarket :)  There is a McDonald's a short walk away too and a LIDL supermarket close by to that.

I think for what it is it was a little overpriced compared what we'd pay in UK for similar accommodation.  

Overall it as a reasonable place to stay and would be happy consider it again if we were in the area.
