Hotel Relais Bourgondisch Cruyce - A Luxe Worldwide Hotel

Stayed for two nights. We don't usually splurge for a place like this but we thought this was likely a once in a lifetime visit. We probably do not look like the typical visitor here but they were kind and quickly checked us in. They upgraded our room which was on the canal. We threw open the windows and could not believe our eyes. We left our lights on because we knew we would end the night across the canal at the little cafe with a bottle of wine and we could see which windows were ours. It was truly magical. The room was just as you would imagine. Wood everywhere. A nice little desk and chair. A spare chair in the corner. The bathroom was wonderful with "granite" (?) countertops. Lovely. Great shower and amenities included shampoo and conditioner and lotion. Don't forget the breakfast, at least once, as it is a must. There is an elevator if needed. Staff were wonderful. They schedule a taxi for us so when we were checking out we were greeted by a taxi driver. Wonderful location. Super romantic. Great location. Easily walkable area. Lovely stay! 100% recommend.
