I was in Traun for a concert for one night. The hotel is very conveniently located between the train station and the venue (spinning) in the center. (I had traveled by train) Very friendly and easy communication with the reception. My room - as announced - is small but light-blank. (I was late with my booking) The breakfast buffet was sensational. Great offer, fresh, appealing and especially available from 6:30 am, which was ideal for me... the two ladies were very friendly in the morning too! I'd like to go back!

We've been to this hotel and we're thrilled with the service and the courtesy of the staff. A very nice clean hotel with a lot of service. It's a great hotel.

Very clean rooms with functional furnishings. Everything is in tune and fits together well. Decorated with a great deal of attention to detail. Very nice and hardworking staff with credible kindness. Great breakfast!

Unfortunately, only for one night... we could have lasted longer!

Nice hotel with friendly staff and good breakfast. Located near the center of Traun with parking spaces in front of the door. Dinner I couldn't check because one evening was a rest day. Rooms are good, bathroom/WC is very narrow and small.

It's for short.

I spend a night in this hotel. The rooms are pretty big but not very modern (had a room in the white house). The rooms are clean and the interior is ok. A bed is unfortunately not very hard - but maybe you like soft ones. The breakfast is really ok, but honestly nothing special. The room where you get the breakfast is very nicely decorated and the service is very friendly.

Good hotel near the city center

The crowd was over 40 people, so we were accommodated in the restaurant building and many others across the street. A newly renovated old villa. Spacious rooms, excellent services.

Dependence in the restored old mansion

For a short stay near Linz, it was absolutely ok! Very friendly staff, breakfast was top-notch, rooms were spacious and clean, location near the center, tram to Linz can be reached on foot. Unfortunately the restaurant in the hotel is closed, unfortunately you have to escape to the surrounding area, hopefully a solution will soon be found.

We liked it, but...

Since I often have to go to work to sleep, I've been to the Almtalhof many times before. This time I got a room across the street from the building and was very pleasantly surprised. The room was very large with a private living room with a desk and seating, the bedroom was very bright and the bathroom must have just recently been refurbished. The room made a very good and comfortable impression on everything. Over and over again, it's a joy to be in touch with the hotel owner. She radiates so much kindness and heartfeltness that the day begins well. Even her assistant at work did a nice thing and so forth freely. A great compliment to the two of them in the morning. Since the other shit was a really freaked-out surprise, I can cut myself off at the next stop in Almtalhof.

Nice hotel with a very friendly owner

Since Linz was booked out, I decided to go to this hotel. It is very centrally located in Traun. Linz is also not far away. Despite my late arrival, everything was perfect. My room was in a side building, which surprised me a little at first. But the room was top-notch. It was very spacious. Internationally, you would call it Junior Suite. The breakfast buffet was also ok. The service was friendly and quick. I can recommend this hotel without any hesitation.

It's a great hotel. Great service.

Clean rooms, good breakfast, friendly staff, modest and tasty, always a mini bar full of drinks, chocolate and other ingredients for those who want to go back to the hotel if necessary.
