This is our second stay, as we enjoyed it so much last year, we decided to stay again. Great staff - we were made to feel like VIPs when we arrived and the waiters were friendly and attentive (well done Patrick!). We felt that the food had noticeably improved since last year, and indeed when we asked they said that they have changed the chef since last year. The food is really very tasty. Every course was great. Of course we must mention the wine, which is exceptional. A wide selection - you can’t fail to find something you like. We found a lot that we liked and will look forward to buying what are becoming our favourite wines. The biking is wonderful - tough on a regular bike. If you go on a regular bike (like we did last year), you can drive to nearby flatter areas and do well-marked routes. This year we took the ebike meaning we can go straight from the hotel. The views are stunning.
