Pretty descent appartement, but I don't think i would recommend this for family's. 2 of the 4 had to sleep in the kitchen/livingroom. And those didn't had much space. The bedroom was huge so those didnt had much to complain about. 
Nice balcony on the south-side so we had some sun after we got home from skiing. There was some wifi (with ups and downs). 
Overall I wouldn't mind going again with my friends, but not with my parents.
For the price that we paid it was a bit too much.

Trip for a week

In the week of New Years Eve 2013 we rented 2 apartments through Sunweb with 5 adults and 4 children for 7 nights. We paid approx. 670 euro's a person (incl skipas). After a very long drive, nobody could be found to check in. We asked in the restaurant of the hotel for help and they rudely told us to just wait. After half an hour somebody showed up. We were informed that 1 of the apartments had 2 holes in the door from drunken guests the night before and that the top bunk bed was missing the safety rail, but it was all going to be fixed the next day. Not! They finally fixed it a day before departure, after my niece had fallen out of bed. The repair person left all de sawdust on the bedroom floor and in 2 of the beds. Furthermore, my son found a cigarette in his bed (we are non smokers, so it didn't come from us).  You get 1 tiny old worn out towel a person and midweek they change the "towels". The carpet is full of stains. The interior is dreadful. With 2 apartments combined we had 2 wine glasses. No serving bowls of any kind (salad out of a pan). The communal washer/dryer is broken. The sauna is not working. If you have other options, take them. Do not go here, unless you really don't care.

What a dump!

In the blue sky we reached the Zillertal Gerlos. Some facilities were probably damaged by guests. Some lamps were missing. But due to the friendliness, price, cleanliness and size of the room, it's no wonder, since Kitsbühl is a few mountains away (about 50km away) A very cordial reception by Daniela was just right after the long journey. The rooms were lightning blank. Then some facilities were damaged by guests. But due to the friendliness, price, cleanliness and size of the room, we were unable to escape! In short: here you can enjoy a super relaxed ride or experience what you have.

Holidays at Almabtrieb

We booked in the wrong place... Writing on the walls, doors that were missing, chewing gum in the shower, chips and beercaps under the sleeping couch, lamps missing, bed springs gone, windows you just couldn't look trough because of the dirt, dirty sock on the balcony, glassware used as ashtrays and not cleaned.... It goes on and on..... Our trip was a business trip and the match between both did not exist. Breakfast in a ski resort at 9:30, who's idea is that? Lifts open at 8:30...

For drunk students this is the place to be, can't be wrecked anymore then it already is and who needs breakfast when you got to bed at 6:00 a good lunch is your main concern.

I have no clue what the room price was, but what I do know is that they charge cleaning? They might actually use that money to clean before the arrival of guests...

We stayed in Joe's aparthotel for a week in April 2012. We were with a group of 3 and had an appartment which is rented to groups up to 8 people. 
The aparthotel is situated in the center of the village: all bars, restaurants and shops are within walking distance. 
The appartment was clean and is spacious for 3 people, but unsuitable for groups of more than 4 people. There is only one bathroom and one (separate) toilet. We had a large balcony with street view on the first floor. 
Beds are a bit worn-out. Kitchen gear is very basic. I would definately advise you against cooking yourself as there are insufficient and inferior tools.  There are plenty (relatively cheap) alternatives for dinner in town.
Contrary to other reviews I read about Joes, the staff was quite friendly to us. Despite the fact that we were the only guests who made use of it, the staff was willing to prepare an extensive breakfast for us each morning.  Parking was easy in front of the apartment.
The lockers for your ski gear of the apparmtent were smelly and tiny. 

The main gondola of Gerlos is situated outside the city center. You have to take a bus, or walk 10-15 minutes or go by car (which is what we preferred).
We booked this trip last minute through Sunweb and paid very little. 
I can recommend this accomodation if you do not have too high expectations or demands.
