We stayed one night at Eco Hotel near Rubik.
The location is stunning beside the river and nestled in the mountains.
The hotel is modern, the staff are friendly and the service is excellent.
We sat outside in the afternoon to enjoy a beer and then had dinner in the evening. The menu is varied. My husband and I shared the Spinach Pie and the Pomegranate Salad.
The room was nice with a nice view over the valley. Sleep quality was very good even though the bed was quite hard.
There was a nice buffet breakfast downstairs to finish off a nice stay.

I just had the most amazing time at the Eko Hotel Marub in Albania. The hotel is located in the middle of the most breathtaking scenery you can imagine - think majestic mountains, crystal-clear rivers, and lush greenery everywhere you look. The air is so fresh and invigorating, I felt like I was in a different world. The hotel itself is really cool, they're all about sustainability and taking care of the environment, which is something that's super important to me. The rooms were cozy and comfortable, with a really nice traditional Albanian vibe that I totally dug. And the food - oh my god, the food! They serve up the most delicious local cuisine made with fresh ingredients that really highlight the local flavors. Plus, the hotel is so close to all these amazing hiking and cycling trails, which meant I got to explore the outdoors and take in all the stunning natural beauty of Albania. If you're looking for a unique and unforgettable experience, I highly recommend checking out the Eko Hotel Marub.

We thoroughly enjoyed our brief stay in this friendly and comfortable hotel. The food was extremely good and all staff were accommodating and full of smiles. The situation is beautiful and the river rushing by the outside seating area made it feel refreshingly cool on such a warm, sunny day.  My only criticism is that the WIFI wasn't working properly.

This hotel was pretty, within a picturesque area. The breakfast was good too. The staff really helped us out after a very stressful day. The internet wasn't great though. The room was just what we needed.

Beautiful location by the river just outside Rubik. Spacious clean room with en-suite, air con and a balcony. Lovely views and friendly, helpful staff. Wish I had longer than one night there and would certainly go back.Avoid attic room as one of our group said it was stuffy... mine on 2nd floor was lovely

I have been here several times and every single time I enjoyed it. It is well located, quiet and such a beautiful place. If you really want to take some time of this is the place to go. Fresh and organic food, friendly staff.

Eko Hotel Marub - A Hidden Gem in Albania's Natural Beauty

This hotel was a lifesaver

A small road from the highway leads to the Marub, alone in the woods. Luckily we did not meet a coach. Three floors but no lift. We were assigned a room on the third floor. The bathroom was disappointing. The door opened on a beam. The water came from everywhere what is not very comfortable brushing once theat. It was so quiet until the storm came. The roof is not isolated and it was like standing in a drum. 
The food was a little better and served on a terrace build over a small river, nice.
