Hostel is very well located. We are really in the young and super nice personal B&B atmosphere. The rooms are in their juice but very well decorated with a small terrace for certain. Breakfast is very friendly, everyone serves in the kitchen and lunch in the garden on the different tables scattered here and the. I recommend.

What a wonderful experience.

We stayed in a private room here for 2 nights. The setting was just stunning. The grounds of the hostel are unbelievable, there are multiple levels with beautiful flowers. The hostel has a really lovely feel with lots of mingling in the evening outside. The bathroom was clean and our bedroom very beautiful and comfy, although it did get hot (as we had no aircon and only a fan). The balcony was stunning and the views were fantastic. The location of the hostel is perfect, it’s so close to so much and has scenic views. Whilst the breakfast wasn’t huge, it was lovely to have each morning and we enjoyed the fresh watermelon. Highly recommend.

A fantastic hostel in Berat - must stay!

Best hostel in Berat and good vibes 🥰
U can find a huge garden and spacious rooms and toilets. Everything is super clean and the breakfast is delicious with many varieties like nowhere else.
They organise also canyon and wine tours so u save more than 1 day to spent in berat 🤩

The hostel at first glance is very nice: a stone house, a large garden where to park, read, drink something.. in 3 nights I had two private rooms, having to add one to the last one: the extra room was more Spartan, the other was nice I have to admit with a nice balcony. The solutions are with a common bathroom. The breakfast was not very abundant in my opinion and the kitchen where to get things was quite narrow. The hostel is actually run by international volunteers who give some advice, but if for example you have to ask for a taxi, they have to go through the owner (never seen) because they don't know Albanian: this obviously takes more time, attracts, uncertainty..

There's better.

Berat Bsckpsckers and Maya Hostel are in Berat together. We decided to stay in the backpackers. The view from the top is still a little more spectacular than the view from the shore. The staff are all super friendly, breakfast is sufficient and the day trip to the waterfall/Osumi Canyon should definitely be taken with you! Fun, fun and very interesting tour from the owner of the hotels. Very highly recommended!

This is an absolute recommendation.

The man in the reception give me fake 20 euros and i discovered that after i left berat, I reported the same for the owner and he didn’t care at all 
Be aware of these thief

Absolutely loved staying here and would not hesitate to stay here if I was ever in Berat again. 

It’s a beautiful building in the Gorica quarter, and it’s super clean. There are so many breakout spaces where you can hang out, chill, and socialise whilst enjoying the view of the Managalem quarter and Berat castle over the river. It is beautiful day and night.

There is great wifi and the staff are super friendly and helpful with regard to asking about transport, activities, and organising tours. The Osumi Canyon tour is excellent and I heard great things about the wine tour.

Dorm rooms are a good size with comfortable beds and lockers for everyone. There aren’t many plug sockets in the room but there are lots throughout the hostel so it’s not an issue. Bathrooms are great and cleaned multiple times a day. The showers were powerful with plenty of hot water for everyone.

Breakfast is served every morning with a selection of fruit, local pastries and bread. The kitchen can also be used at other times of day for guests to prepare their own food. Water is drinkable too.

The hostel is a walkable distance from everything you’d want to do in Berat. There’s a very nice hiking trail through a pine forest nearby which is great at sunset. If getting a local bus from Berat bus terminal, you can get off at Gorica bridge and walk to the hostel from there.

If you are in Berat - you MUST stay here!

One of the best hostels done in my life. Typical and great stone architecture house, you straight feel like home. 
Activities available : day trip to bogove waterfall and ossum canion > 5 stars experience > 35€. 
Staff : very friendly staff, helpful and dedicated t keep the place perfect. 
Cleanliness: clean inside and outside
Location: view on the mountain, nearby the city center. 
Minimum to stay: 2 nights
Breakfast included, drinks available at the hostel.

One of the best backpacker in Albania

Very friendly and welcoming staff, who answered my various requests, spacious bedroom, warm water, large terrace where you can spread your laundry, $10 a night with breakfast included.

Well located in the Gorica neighborhood...

Brilliant hostel. Nice and central. Helpful staff and nice clean accommodation. Looking through some of the photos on here is has definitely been modernised since they were published. Would stay here again
