Berghotel Simon 

I had one of the best sleeps ever in this hotel. The area is very quite. The breakfast consisted of cold cuts, various cheeses, yogurt, fruit, cereal, cake, bread and juice. It is a small breakfast. Yogurt is changed daily In my room I had a mini bar. The room also had a small table and a couch. The room also had a safe. One you shut off the fan in the bathroom it still goes for a few minutes and then it shuts off on its own. In my opinion a person needs to be careful when exiting the shower as you have to step down. There are many walking paths in the area. If you do not have a car you can go the next village by bus. If you arriving by train from Oberhof you can take the bus. Then to get to the hotel you have to go up the hill. This hotel also serves lunch and dinner. There is also a terrace. I had lunch and I had potatoe dumplings, red cabbage and rouladen. I was stuffed after the meal.
