The Old House Hostel

Like most other reviewer say we loved our stay at The Old House. Ami and Lou, the hosts, are so kind, helpful, funny (and btw in the mid 20s). It's definitely a home stay and you'll experience life in a young and cool Vietnamese family which breakfast and dinner with the whole hostel-family and Lou love to even go out with us and show us amazing spots (like the even more crazy bar than the crazy house). We only met awesome people here too! For our western standard (or for some expectations): be prepared that the facilities are basic. You share one bathroom (one shower, one toilette) and a toilette all together and the rooms have beds, that's it. Clean and comfy for us! For us that was just fine and we will come back when we're back in Da Lat. Besides that price - value is great anyways! We stayed in both, private and dorm. Ami and Lou can book tours, scooters, buses and whatever for you too. Thanks for everything! (And sorry again that we forgot one phone, so kind that you called the bus driver yourself and followed the bus to bring it to us!<3) Luisa & Marc
