Moody Manor

We had a FABULOUS stay at Moody Manor over the last week of the Houston Rodeo :) I was a little concerned after reading some online reviews about roaches and the place being unclean, but these couldn’t be further from the truth!!! The room and linen was SPOTLESS and able to be FULLY serviced each day (you an also opt out to save the planet lol!) We didn’t see a SINGLE roach, fly or any other bug - yay! Yes the room (upstairs) is slightly dated but had great amenities - full kitchen with full sized oven, fridge and microwave as well as a coffee maker, toaster, and iron. ALL the staff (reception, security, cleaning, kitchen) were super friendly and helpful and we received a Rodeo giftbag on arrival with treats and snacks, and there was complimentary popcorn and coffee in our room also. There is a FREE inclusive breakfast every day and a FREE light meal each evening during the week. The breakfast especially has lots of different options - full cooked, continental, waffles, bagels, muffins etc and fresh coffee too. Makes for really good value as included in price of room. The location in relation to NRG stadium and the Rodeo is fantastic (easily walkable), but there is also a COMPLIMENTARY shuttle every 15 mins to and from the rodeo!!! The location in general is great - safe and central to local stores and restaurants - and right next door to a Kroger supermarket/pharmacy with a Starbucks inside :) We had an awesome stay here and will DEFINITELY be back (from New Zealand!) again!!!
