I had a real good time in you bed an breakfast. You are very kind und carming. this bnb is perfekt to go to the Duxfors Museum, Cambridge and the nearest Beach, Southend on See. I Loved you Breakfast, that you cooced spezill for me. The house it is good and quied.

Hosts were very welcoming.  Room and bath very good.  Only negative was the driveway/parking which was rather tight.

The hosts were very friendly.  We got some lemon cake and homemade elderflower juice as a welcoming aperitif. The breakfast was excellent and we were offered a free parking possibility in Cambridge by the host.

We had a one night stay at Orchard Pond with our son. Very comfortable and friendly. Janet and Simon were lovely and accommodating. Also had a nice meal at the Tickell Inn. We'll be back as I suspect IWM Duxford is going to be a hit. Thank you

I have stayed in this B&B many times now. Always good clean and warm. I sleep well. The area is peaceful and the breakfast is brilliant and very fresh. I try and book this as far in advance as possible as sometimes it is fully booked. I then have to rough it at a another hotel.

A really relaxing two nights away, Janet and Simon were so hospitable. Comfortable beds and a delicious breakfast with fresh eggs from their free-range chickens. We will definitely be going back. Thank you!

We stayed 1 night only on our way back home from Yorkshire. We stayed in room nr 2 wich is rather small with very narrow bed. But it has a very nice en-suite bathroom with great shower and super water supply, Janet and Simon are realy nice and friendly hosts, the breakfast is exellent with plenty of choice,  So, we had a good en pleasant stay there,

Nice B&B

Stayed for a few nights whilst working at addenbrookes. Alot of b&bs it feels like you're staying in a spare room of a family home, which I'm not too keen on sometimes, but this feels different. 

The hosts were also very lovely and accommodating. There's a really good breakfast with plenty of variety and the room was huge. One other plus is the 2 opposing windows so you get a through draft. Great in the summer when it's  normally stuffy.

Overall would definitely recommend.

Lovely hosts

Stayed here after two bad nights at another Hotel. This is a bed and breakfast in a family house. I found it comfortable, bathroom was not on suite but no real issue.
Breakfast was tailored to what I wished and nicely cooked. Good WIFI. TV was a bit small for a old guy like me to see but worked. Will stay again.
Bed was big and comfy.

Nice two night stay

This B&B is in a great location. On a quiet road within walking distance to pubs in Duxford village for an evening meal. We were travelling by motorcycle on the start of a long trip so contacted Janet at Orchard Pond to see if we could arrive early and drop off our bags to enable us to visit the War Museum at Duxford. Janet went out of her way to enable us to do this. Not only could we drop off the bags, but our room was ready and she made us a cup of tea on arrival. She suggested places to eat and even made the booking for us. The room was very comfortable and the breakfast excellent.

Perfect for I.W.M. Duxford

I had such a lovely stay at Orchard Pond.  Wonderful hosts and Janet made me feel so welcome from the moment I stepped into the house.  Very hospitable and helpful and I enjoyed our chats.  Excellent choices for breakfast and was always offered more or if anything is needed.
The room was lovely and comfortable with a warm touch of a home baked cake and a good selection of tea in my room.  Janet even kindly chilled my bottle of wine for the evening!  The location was perfect for my time in Cambridge.  A minor point is that the WIFI signal in my room was weak, apart from that, I can highly recommend a stay at Orchard Pond.

Home from Home!

We had a wonderful time with Janet and Simon, the amazing hosts of the Orchard Pond B&B. The house is wonderful, the breakfast (with fresh eggs from their own chickens!!) super nice and the overall stay just amazing. We can’t wait till next time. Thank you for everything Simon & Janet, we’ll be back soon!!
