OYO A Better Night Hotel - Manchester Salford

The staff are amazing and very friendly. It has a homely feel to the place and that i am part of the family. Nothing is too trouble. The dining room is immaculate as is the rest of the building. I had such a good sleep and i definitely would stay here again. In fact i have booked an extra night tonight. Free parking off road with shops right across the road and Salford Royal hospital is just across the road.

We booked for 3 adults  as attended wythenshaw park concert. We originally were going to drive to the hotel and it was the free parking that drew me to it. However we ended up getting a train to Manchester in the end. The hotel is a short walk to the tram stop, the staff of the hotel are all chatty and friendly and very helpful if you need to know anything. The room is basic but we just needed somewhere to sleep! The beds were comfy and the Shower was good. We didn't use the lounge area downstairs but it had a fridge,microwave and kettle in so you could make food and drink and either eat it in the lounge area or take it to your room. There was also a breakfast provided, with croissants, yoghurt, fruit,ham,cheese,avacado and toast you just help yourself, there's also every tea you could imagine coffee and fruit juices on offer. I'm sure this hotel gets booked alot by people attending the hospital. Which is just over the road, there are also a few takeaways opposite the hotel if you want to get takeaway. Will definitely look at booking this hotel again. It was very good value for money.

Hotel is lovely and clean with a great lounge where you can help yourself to tea & coffee, use the microwave or fridge freezer. The staff were so welcoming, going over and above to make our stay comfortable, and continental breakfast in the morning was excellent, everything you could think off, served by a very lovely lady, sorry I didn’t get your name.  Thanks for making our weekend.

Location was great not far to get into Manchester City centre. Building was renovated and generally a good option compared to other hotels that charge a lot more

Great place, good for young people especially . Lots of shops and takeaway near by

The hotel was nice and clean. The room and bedding were clean and had everything I needed. I was very happy with the stay. The hotel was a good find.

Best Hotel I've stayed in in ages.

Gem of a place

Couldn't have felt more welcome from the moment I stepped in. Lovely staff! Bus stop to get into central manchester right outside. For the price, absolutely worth it. No kettle or TV in the room but a lovely communal area where you can go and get tea (with ACTUAL milk, none of the UHT stuff in chain hotels). Area is a little loud during the night because of the hospital so bear that in mind if you're there during summer. Bed was fine, shower worked. Only minor complaint was the towels, they shed a LOT of fluff on me!

Very helpful and friendly staff .very quiet,good fresh looking decor,great shower.good selection for breakfast and didn't close to early.good layout,has a child out/TV room.only downside is the parking is a little tight for larger cars in small front car park or entrance to rear car park as old property but well worth staying in if your in the area ,far better than Travelodge etc.

We arrived on Friday the 13th for a concert , and were  greeted by a lovely gentleman who then went and fetched the lady in charge , straight forward check in , room lovely and clean , and a super free continental breakfast on the following morning , 3 Adults for £67 absolute steal and only 4 miles away from the venue we were attending , would definitely book again , thankyou for a lovely stay xx

Ignore the description on websites about the room. No rooms have any TV's, tea or coffee making facilities. You can still make a cup of tea or coffee & watch certain tv programmes but this is down in the breakfast room.Inside cupboards & drawer units were a bit dusty, not been cleaned properly. It could of done with somewhere to hang towels (had to leave them draped over the radiator), would have been nice to have a proper toilet roll holder rather than place it on top of the only bin in the room (which was in the bathroom). It did have a makeshift one but was tucked right behind the toilet, not good for those with back issues. It could have had some hooks on the back of the door to hang towels.The rest of the room, albeit basic, was clean & tidy.That said, there was a good selection for breakfast & the staff were very pleasant & helpful. It was ideal for what we needed, a base to visit Manchester.

100/10 recommend staying here! continental breakfast was good, served every morning. love the format of the hotel and common area. the staff was the best part for me, all so kind and helpful. really made my experience all the better as a solo traveler! safe area and so close to the bus stop making it even more perfect. absolutely no complaints and would love to come back asap:)

Perfect overnight stay! .. attending a concert at the AO Arena in city centre .. much cheaper accommodation than staying in the  actual City and only a short drive away. Very friendly welcome, lovely lady  ..we had a large room .. was clean ..comfortable ..parking included 😃.. help yourself to a continental Breakfast ..we had a nice cuppa and toast before we left . Thank you A Better Night Hotel ⭐️

If you just need a no frills place to stay on a budget for a night its good. Electric shower wasnt hot so not happy with that. Room was clean apart from a stain on the single duvet. I would recommend if you just want to sleep in comfort.
